Clean cabins, they also have pots, pans, silverware, cups etc. Fire places in most cabins and a fun and friendly staff. Shout out to phil! No cell service for most people but you dont really need it with all the things to do outdoors here.

This is one of the best resorts in Northern Wisconsin They have a very nice and friendly staff. They are a family owned lodge with very nice cabins to rent from small 1- 2 bedrooms to larger cabins that can sleep up to 15 They restaurant is very good This lodge is family friendly and has things for guests to do all year round

Well, I haven't stayed there because we are locals, but they have a great North woods breakfast that just can't be beaten. Lots of options and you really have to work at it to clean your plate, because the portions are so large. Quick and friendly service and the Bakers Surprise that comes with breakfast is always a tasty way to start your day. If you are on Lac Vieux Desert you can take your boat and tie up at the resort docks then walk about 75 yards to the dining hall. You can watch the hummingbirds at the numerous feeders while waiting for your meal to arrive. After breakfast the kids love to play on the many kid oriented structures or play shuffleboard. This year they were learning to play chess on the giant size outdoor chess boardThe king and queen are about two feet tall. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

Wonderful place that's been family run for around 50 years. The cabins/houses are nice and clean and very comfortable. Perfect place for a fall getaway. Great food and service at the main lodge as well.

Sunrise Lodge is a wonderful place to go. They have individual cabins, all heated for winter, air conditioned for summer, exceptionally clean. Great food in the lodge. Meal plans, we always do the American Plan, if you want or not. Staff is wonderful. Family owned and operated for almost 50 years. They have great options for all ages of kids. Art, fishing contests, softball, volleyball, basketball, and more. We come here one week every fall, sometimes a week in the spring, and this year our whole family is coming up for a week at Christmas. Best place to vacation at.

Stayed here 12 years ago for a week during a family reunion of 30 It was a blast and very memorable, even if I was only 20. Lots of laughs and great family time to be had here

This is a very quiet, but awesome resort! Great for a getaway, or for a vacation. They have bikes just sitting around for transportation around the resort, and boats for use.

Love Sunrise Lodge!
Family owned and operated by a really great family.
We come every year for snowmobiling, but thinking we may come in the summer too for the great fishing and locale.

We had a family reunion here, ages 2-75, and everyone loved it. The restaurant features home cooking and WI favorites, like a great fish fry. The cabins are clean and private, with well equipped kitchens, TV. The commons has tons of yard games; ping pong, mini golf, bikes to ride, tennis court, basketball, canoes, kayaks, motorboat rental, and a beach.
