We did the ATV tour and had the most fun ever! We rode through the mountains, through a mine, and passed an animal habitat area with goats, birds, ducks, donkeys, bulls, and much more! The tour was well run and the staff was very friendly and professional. They made sure that safety of the riders came first.

The ATV track is not suitable for beginners. As such, one of our party flipped over the back of the quad bike during a rough part of the trail and had their bike land on top of them. While the staff on the trail were quick in helping, we are very disappointed in how it was handled by the owner back at the base. We were charged an additional $130 to repair scratches on the bike (purely cosmetic damage). Extremely disappointed with this outcome, especially as all riders were travelling responsibly, following the instructors and only rode on the track. They're very lucky that there wasn't a serious injury. If you're a beginner, this isn't the place for you.

I made a decision to horseback ride while visiting Georgia. Looked at the reviews for a few places but this facility seemed to fit the bill When I called to book the women on the line was super sweet ..her name was Becky. I knew when I signed in that this place was extra special. My ride was a 2 hour ride and I ended being the lasthorse in line. This ride was unbelievable thru some of the most beautiful landscape that Georgia has to offer! So amazing with the trails weaving up and down the mountain .The horses were very well behaved and had lots of spunk! Three quarters of the way we were treated to an Italian ice pop..what a nice surprise! The guides where very friendly and personable too! Would highly recommend this business..have many things to do if horseback riding is not your thing.Next time I would love to try zip lining.

I visited Sunburst Stables about 5 years ago for my birthday. My family and I did the zipline tour it was great. I recently visited with friends and was highly disappointed with the customer service. If you are not a fan of animals I’d advise you stay away. I’m extremely afraid of dogs and cats. I was greeted by a German Shepherd upon my entrance into their office. I explained that I was afraid of dogs. The lady behind the counter proceeded to tell me “well they live here so I can’t put them away.” WOW nor even until I finish my paperwork and pay for your services. We drove up from Atlanta so it’s was kind of hard to simply turn around and go back home. The zipline tour was not available so we did horseback riding. While being given valuable instructions on how to handle the horse I was greeted by the House cat who also lives there that I was afraid of. Needless to say the horseback tour and guides were great. I simply wished they mentioned the House dogs and cats on their website so that those that are afraid can make an informed decision prior to making the drive to visit their stables. Lesson learned.

Wonderful staff. My daughter went back a couple of days later for a second longer horseback ride and was given a discount. Will definitely go back when in the area again.

I cannot stop talking about this place! Visited Georgia last week and this was such a beautiful place. We booked the ATV tour with Evan. He was so nice and made sure we stopped and showed us around. Even got to see deers in the mountains. He was very knowledgeable and loves his job. We even got to pet the horses while we waited around for another group. Everyone was so welcoming, I would defiantly recommend this place for a fun filled day in Clarksville, GA.

We visited Hiawasse GA in June. After a lot of research this was the only place I could find where my 4 and 6 year old could horseback ride (sitting behind adult) and zip line. We did the 1 hour horse ride which was plenty long enough for my butt and the 4yo's attention span. The little ones sat in a tandem saddle behind the adults, they seemed very comfortable. Our 7 yo also went on his own horse. After the ride, we stayed on the property and ate our picnic lunch at their covered picnic tables then did the zip line tour. Again, my 4 and 6 yo could zip on their own. They LOVED it! My 7 yo went too and had a blast. The zips range from ~500 ft to over 1000 ft. We had about 12 in our goroup plus 3 guides and it went pretty quickly, about 2.5 hours. You start the zip line tour with a ride in their vehicle through the property to the top of the mountain. Along the ride, you go through their animal area and we got to feed several. Once at the top, you start to zip and it was so much fun. By the 7th zip, my 7 yo learned to flip upside down. Everyone in the group seemed to have a great time. They were all impressed with our 4 yo zipping along like a pro. It was well worth the price and a great family memory. Highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in October at the Wildwood cabin. It was a small cozy cabin for couples who just wants to get away. Looking out the back porch to seeing BEAUTIFUL horses and the amazing view in the distant was spectacular! We loved that downtown Helen was just down the road from them. Reason for a 4 star was because there were some minor flaws. First, when we got there, we had a wasp whom welcomed us. Second, we couldn't find the remote to change the channel. There are remotes for the dvd and the tv itself but not for the cable. Had to change the channel by using the cable box. Next, there was a lot of cobb webbs above the bed and around the windows. My boyfriend had to clean above the bed to make sure nothing fell on us while sleeping. Then the hot water for the shower ended too quick for us to have a warm shower. Lastly, on our last morning there, we were woken up by something scratching on the wood in the roof. It felt like it was between the wood and the tin roof. Scared me a little bit. The place could be a little updated and cleaner but other than that we still enjoyed our stay. Will still book with them again! =)

My husband, four year old little girl, and myself were there yesterday. We had a blast! We did the horse back riding and zip lining and both were so much fun. Our guides, Blake and Evan, were phenomenal. They kept us laughing and entertained the entire time. Such a great experience for us. We will be back!
