I highly recommend Summerfield Retirement Community to anyone looking for a new place to call home. My mom lived there for several years and just recently passed away. Summerfield is a retirement community with independent living or Assisted Living. You can decide what level of assistance fits your situation if you need help.
My mom enjoyed the weekly activities—bingo, painting, crafts, singers, happy hour and the Special events such as a Mardi Gras Ball, Hawaiian luau, holiday luncheons and many other fun activities.
The Administrator, Fran Kelly-Lacour and the entire staff go out of their way to create a wonderful Senior Living environment at Summerfield.response / report this review -

Wow! What a truly amazing facility! We recently took a tour for my parents and we were blown away! The staff greeted us friendly, the building was stunning, the lunch we had was delicious and the residents we spoke to on our tour had us convinced this was the place for my parents. Summerfield is the best in St. Tammany for a reason!! Top notch on all fronts!

I worked at Summerfield for 6 years before I retired. I loved every minute of it. Plenty of activities, and good food. The residents would describe it as a cruise ship that you never have to get off. I could not agree more!

As an employee of Summerfield for the last 7 years, it has been a joy to work with my wonderful residents. I have shared many milestones in my life with my residents they are all like family members. Being a part of the Summerfield family is like no other. Seeing every ones smiling faces as you walk in the door while being greeted always starts the mornings off right.

Summerfield Assisted Living is the premier assisted living facility in St Tammany Parish. The staff is professional but caring as though the residents were their own relatives. They have so many activities for the residents and the food is awesome as well. The facility is always clean. If you need the perfect place for elderly relative this is it!!
