The Studio For Change® is where clients come to learn, experiment, create and practice – a studio where children, young adults, families and adults come to workout solutions through a creative, therapy-based process that helps them better cope with the thoughts, feelings and behaviors caused by the daily stresses of 21st Century living.
At The Studio, we meet clients where they are.
We listen to what clients want to achieve in therapy and look at the whole person – a total view of what’s going on in their life – to better understand the needs and potential solutions.
Together, we plan a program using a wide variety of proven techniques to get to the heart of the stressor, and then we systematically ‘work the program’ to support the client in moving forward with their life. This may include:
• Setting personal life goals
• Managing feelings and behavior
• Improving relationships
• Enhancing physical well-being
• Other forward moving actions
Our goal is to help clients access their best self, quickly and thoroughly, what we call ‘healthy wholeness.’
Our therapeutic process begins with listening and enables our clients to:
• Feel better – there is some resolution.
• Feel safe, listened to /heard and challenged
in a good way to make a change
• Feel more equipped to cope with the
stresses of daily life or a particular on-going
situation
• Reach the goal they set for themselves and
feel satisfied
• Feel that the process and the work were
worth the monetary and time commitment
• Embrace the process of change, see
opportunities for growth and feel able to
move to on with their life because they have
the skills, tools and resources to do so

At The Studio, we go a step further than just the physical well being that a fitness or yoga studio might address, and focus on the emotional effects created by the stresses of living in the 21st Century and the personal skills needed to work through these effects.
For our clients, a fit and healthy mind enables them to create a fit body and a healthy life. Without that emotional fitness, it can be challenging to be physically healthy, and to live a fulfilling, satisfying life.
