  This place is amazing and well decorated, food is amazing and the wine list is excellent as well. Run and owned by chefs and CIA graduates is a super plus. Must visit

  Walked into this place with our family of 11 and thought, Wow this is a cool place!!! Then they took us up to the second floor which was really cool, its a very cozy place that offers a pretty good menu which includes a salad bar, pasta, steaks, ribs, and much more... i didnt try any dessert but they looked really good, they have really good service, the waiter was a very jolly young man that was there to help in any way possible.

  For tonight only this was the rating. We eat here all the time and my husband lobes the burgers. But unfortunately when you are served a burger with a quarter inch think piece of cheese and it not melted, and has to be sent back. That isn't okay. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for a second set of salad plates. The girl said sorry I was helping them in the back. Well at that point she should of asked someone else to bring them out to us. Then I put in a to go order after I got my food and still waited 40 min after I was done with getting for it. Then I said something and about this problem and nothing was done. That's not right for a local who eats there alot.

  Very nice place, steak was one of the best I ever had. Maggie was so nice so ask to sit in her section. Salad bar is a nice touch too. Will visit again when in area. Thank you for great service and atmosphere.

  My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we were looking for a good place to eat. We tried stonewalls and were very impressed. Great atmosphere and incredible wait staff. Ann was our waitress and she was phenomenal! I had a request concerning my meal choice and she was very kind and courteous!! Great experience!

  Horrible food! Got raw asparagus! Not even cooked. Tasteless chicken with crab thrown on top and hardly any sauce. For fine dining prices...not worth it! The prom chop was fatty!!! Server was amazing, the only nice part of my experience. I had high hopes for this place. Very disappointed.

  Very friendly servers, up-to-date decorum - quite snazzy! Reasonably priced, everything we ordered was prepared well... delicious burgers, steaks, loaded potatoes, French Onion Soup, salad bar, and Key Lime pie.

  My wife and I had a Great experience having dinner last Sunday evening. LACY was a FANTASTIC server. My Halibut was cooked perfectly cooked to the way I wanted it. Also a very good wine list.

  I was up this past Memorial Day weekend in Banner Elk for my wedding and we chose Stonewalls to have our reception dinner. It was an amazing experience. All the way from the beginning with our planning to our actual event, the owner Scott was very accommodating, generous, and attentive to our every need. The wait staff and bar tenders were awesome. Scott helped us plan our own personal menu and the food was outstanding. I can't rave enough about this exeperience. We loved it so much we went back the next day for dinner. I can't wait to visit Banner Elk again and visit Stonewalls.

  I was just at Stonewalls this past weekend for a wedding celebration. Our party of 20 fit very comfortably upstairs. The atmosphere was great and the owners and wait staff were kind and attentive. The food and drinks were outstanding! What a wonderful experience! I definitely will return if in Banner Elk again!

  Celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary with dinner @ Stonewalls tonight. Jason was our server and was a top notch professional. The dining experience was superb from appetizer, entree and dessert. We had not dined at Stonewalls in a while. I don't think I have ever had a better experience from Chicago to D.C. I highly recommend and ask for Jason, you will not be disappointed.
