I was a part of the bridal party. During the rehearsal dinner the Maitre' D disappeared, he didn't give any directions nor participated in any of the organization and preparation for the event. Everything was done by the reverend, who said that he had never seen anything so disorganized coming from banquet management. On the wedding day, I witnessed the Maitre D come to the bride's suite to harass her about the final count. Throughout the wedding the Maitre' D harassed the bride about alcohol and guests being drunk, and threatening to remove guests that were drunk. The worst Maitre D' ever!!

I recently was a guest at a wedding at the Sterling Ballroom. I witness the bride and groom being interrupted during pictures for money. Then the groom was approached for payment during the reception It was like a shake down from the 1980's. I really cant believe upper management allows this behavior. I really hope the bride and groom were compensated some how.

I concur with Mr. Peck. I was at their wedding, and my wife was one of the bride maids. I have never seen anything like it. The Maitre' D was invisible, and the management along with the Maitre D' did nothing but harass the bride and groom on the most special day of their life with to put up more money at the most inappropriate time. They do not come up with solutions, what they do is create stress and problems. My advice is to run away.

Would never recommend this place to any of my clients. The pros were that the food and staff that handle the wedding were great. However as we had problems with rooms (air mattresses deflated and guest woke up on floor) and the wedding Maitre D (My DJ even said he was the worst he has seen) , the general manager response was I'm sorry. The company's mission statement is to fix a problem and make it right with solutions. We were offered no solutions whatsoever. I have never in my life been handled like this. Considering it was a wedding day for my wife that took numerous hours of planning, the hotels response was poor and unacceptable. Numerous negative reviews will continue from my bridal party and hotel guests that witnessed the above mentioned issues.

My wife and I had our wedding here, I not only recommend the Sterling Ballroom for any party need, I will even go as far as to say you'd be crazy to have your party anywhere else. The staff is so fantastic, the scenery is breathtaking and the food delectable. We received rave reviews from almost all 100 people who attended, many of whom proclaimed their envy and regret for having gone elsewhere for their weddings etc. I do not have enough words for Victoria, Allie and the staff as they were beyond exceptional. My only regret is I didn't get to thank them all enough afterwards But there's always the next party!

My fiance and I are currently planning our December 2014 wedding. Ali and Victoria have been absolutely amazing! They make the experience of planning so customized and as though we are their only clients! Every time I contact them with questions I receive a response back immediately. Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend Sterling Ballroom for any event!

My fiancée and I are in the process of planning our NYE wedding. We looked at a ton of venues before stepping foot in the Sterling Ballroom. We were so impressed by the atmosphere and the passion Victoria had that we decided to book on our first visit! I am still over 7 months away, but I have the bulk of the planning done already due largely to the help of the amazing staff. Their responsiveness pledge speaks for itself. Victoria and Ali answer emails within a few hours, if not immediately. Planning an important event takes a lot of time, patience and dedication. You won't regret booking your event with these ladies when you realize how smooth they make the entire process!

Still in the process of planning my November 2014 wedding and Victoria and Ali are amazing. They make everyone feel like they are their only clients and are so time sensitive with any questions or concerns you have. Not to mention the venue is beautiful and the food is amazing. I am so excited to continue working with the two of them, and the entire Sterling Ballroom staff!

I'm currently planning my wedding at the Sterling Ballroom for NYE this year, 12/31/13. The banquet manager Danielle has been absolutely AMAZING. We booked our wedding September of last year & so far everything that we have wanted for our big day, she has made happen all with in our budget! She’s personable & very helpful with making recommendations for a DJ/Florist/Invites & Photography. The ballroom itself is gorgeous & being connected to a hotel makes it so convenient for our guests. We were able to view the rooms there that our guests will be in & also the suite we will be in and they are very clean and well kept. The hotel has also given us an amazing rate to offer our guests even though it will be NYE. I will post again once the wedding comes & goes but so far our experience has been fantastic & I can not recommend Danielle, The Sterling Ballroom & The Doubletree Hotel enough!!
