This was our first visit to the park. We and our 2 kids loved it. We had cabin 5 which happened to be a handicapped ready cabin. Loved it all, porch, sleeping space and entertaining space. We never missed the tv. There are 3 Geo Caches on property. The Christmas lights and the shops were great. We will be visiting next year!

Camped overnight while passing thru the area. Bathrooms were clean and overall the campground was well maintained. I've been here before and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great camping area on the banks of the Suwannee River, folk festival memoral weekend, Christmas lights in December, & Antique Tractor Show in April.

Arrived with three dogs in tow escaping hurricane Irma. Staff was so friendly and gave me a great spot. Facilities were very clean and was especially glad to see the laundry machines. Took the dogs for a long walk in this stunning park.

Will be back to this place. We stayed in their cabins. There are two museums to visit on property along with a small craft "town." There are biking and hiking trails and a beautiful place to launch your kayak on to the Suwanee River. It is not far from Shoals Park that has paved riding and more hiking.

The nicest museum we've visited. The campsites were big and they have a nice biking and hiking trail. The only concern were the bell chimes does not work during our visit (june 22-24, 2017) and there are a lot of mosquitoes. :( but it was a nice visit.

Very nice state park. Very clean. The exhibits in the museum and carillon station were interesting and nicely displayed. The rangers in the gift shop we're very friendly and helpful. We look forward to another day here when we can rent bikes and do the hiking trail.
4 stars due to carillon not working because of an electrical issue the park was experiencing. It was one of the main reasons we chose this park, but it should be working soon.

Loved it here. To hear his music chime in the big tower was wonderful! So beautiful. And my kids loved it too! If you find the green crocheted crocodile you get a free ice cream at the gift shop!😉

We greatly enjoyed our visit. The crafters were all very polite and happily answered our many questions. We caught the last hour of a gentleman playing several dulcimers and were very impressed by his skill. He also entertained with little stories between his music. Our afternoon here was well spent.

The Stephen Foster Festival of Lights has been one of our favorite holiday traditions for years, that is until this year! We were beyond disappointed with the lights. They were no where near as elaborate nor spectacular as the previous years. The lights seriously looked as though they were "thrown" up last minute, without planning or thoughtful detail. Half of the lights didn't even match; literally different colored strands of lights on bushes in no particular order or pattern. They also introduced billboard advertising, lit in Christmas colors, and a carnival style food truck inside the park ($10 for a burger & fries w/out a drink). I found this to be distasteful. They also restricted the hours of operation this year, which made the park extremely over crowded. Those in charge of the event were clearly more concerned with profit making than the spirit of Christmas. I'm sad to say we will not be going back next year

Wonderful place to visit, the park is beautiful, plenty of parking even now (Christmas) for Festival of Lights. The tower and the rest of the park is beautifully decorated, gift shop, craft shop, café. Just to sit back and enjoy the views of the river and surrounding grounds is great. Have not stayed at the cabins, but at a hundred per night for a two bedroom house it must be a steal.
