  The only reason I give the place 3 stats is because I got the meal for free (had a free coupon for joining their rewards program) other than that, my double cheeseburger was COLD it was absolutely terrible! Fries are too thin and they also leave a weird aftertaste in your mouth. It's good marketing to offer a free meal but you gotta higher the standards if you want us to come back...

  The food was great. The items were a little pricer, expected as such in the city. The only flaw there is they don't sell gift cards, something they should do.

  This place absolutely made my day! While other places in the city have given me issues about my birthday freebies, Steak n Shake gave me no grief and went above and beyond! Thank you! Almost fell over. Lol. And where else in Times Square can you get a burger and fries for $6 and they have the awesome coke machines!!!

  The burger was beyond flat and melancholy, super greasy as hell, and exceptionally sloppy. The chocolate chip cookie dough shake was nothing but iced sugar, you can hardly taste anything else. The fries are as generic and skinny as they come and not hand-cut. The customer service is great, the staff is friendly and smiling, and the food should all be discarded immediately. Never again.

  Small portion sizes (for burgers, foot long dog was OK), staff couldn't care less about me or any other customer . Floor was slippery. Chili dog was extremely bland. Fries were good, burgers should be renamed sliders. Do not offer a combo including soda. Whatever.

  One of the best fast food burgers out there. Skip the lines at shake shack + get the fix here. The fries are NOT to be missed!
