July 4th Cade Garcia came to appointment about remodeling our bathroom. We talked, Cade looked, measured, talked, promised, smiled, enjoyed refreshments we offered. Quoted a "3 or 4 day" turnaround, once materials are ready. Gave us his number if any questions, concerns anything at all, just text him!
We were told materials will be ordered, measured, cut delivered and ready to install. Stephen Kallas, project manager called a couple of weeks later, he would be by tomorrow to look at bathroom and remeasure just to double check the salesmans measurements. Stephen Kallas said this is his number, call, text reach out anytime. He would let me know when they would be ready to start. Stephen Kallas called couple of weeks later, everything is delivered and ready. We will start August 1st We're a family of 3, son works nights and me days. I went to check in a hotel for 3 nights Tues morning Aug 1. My son went to room and went to sleep for work that night. I pulled into work parking lot, Stephen Kallas, calling to say his crew would not be there today, they had truck problems, will start tomorrow. I said I just checked into hotel for the week and now wasted first night. Stephen Kallas said don't worry, he would take care of extra night. Wed morning came, my husband got up early to wait on crew. Another text, crew is on way. Then phone call, they have been sitting in traffic for over an hour. The crew, 2 guys, showed up almost noon, gone before 4:00.
Thurs, worked about 6 hours, installed bathtub, filled with water. Do not drain, city inspector will come to inspect, call as soon as he's here, we will head back to work.
City inspector, did not show Fri. Mon Aug 7, Matt and helper (the crew) showed, inspector showed, 3 minutes later signed off inspection, crew worked 7 hours. I texted Stephen Kallas, he assured me that he would take care of hotel, again. Talked to Stephen Kallas concerning project not moving, he would send his partner to check.
Tue Aug 8 crew worked some, Rodney showed up, talked to my husband, asked for a few minutes and privately talked with Matt Adams about 30 minutes and went to his truck and talked on phone albout 40 minutes, little later crew got a phone call, they had to leave my job, go back to a job to finish up, to get paid and we have a funeral to go tomorrow til about noon.
Wed Aug 9, yep, no show. More unanswered calls and texts to Stephen Kallas. 1:29 pm I sent a text, leave early, funeral, traffic, leave to go do another job, "I do not understand this business tactic. Statewide Remodeling sold me a bathroom remodel, down to the penny, warrantied my lifetime and even my kids lifetime. I'm not sure of your expectations but I believe mine must be of a higher standard. I did not understand that the 3 to 4 day time frame was all the small working hours piece mealed together.
    Nothing
3:51pm text to Stephen Kallas Have you located your crew? They removed the toilet yesterday and I'm still waiting on someone to show up that will actually work.
4:15 text from Stephen Kallas "will be installed tomorrow "
I texted Stephen Kallas, from time appointment was set, until "contract" signed, phones and texts answered immediately. I had a question for Cade Garcia, texted and called him several days no answer.
Once "crew" started, calls and texts went unanswered for hours. Something got Stephen Kallas attention. Text Thur morn Aug 10, "Yes, Rodney and I want that for you that is our number one goal. Things can and do go wrong with remodeling. We, Statewide, we are committed to completion and customer satisfaction. "Fri Aug 11 Stephen Kallas texts "Crew stuck in traffic-Be there by 10"
I texted Stephen Kallas "Oh my, gonna be a long day, will be finished today, granddaughter birthday is tomorrow.
They worked til 7pm, said done. I had to sign paper so he could get paid. Been a week. Last I heard. Here's pictures 18k remodel. Don't do it!

"Offered to help, will not answer phone or text. Still not wanting to correct their errors!!

We were referred to Statewide by a family member who had heard a favorable report on their work from a friend and had heard their advertising on a local radio station. We contacted 2 window companies to get a quote. The first salesman for Pella came and gave us an estimate. He warned us that Statewide would not be honest. The statewide salesman, Eric, assured us the he was always honest. We explained that we were accepting his bid due to his promise of a delivery time of 4-6 weeks. We were getting a property ready to use as a short term rental and thus, time equals money. We shared the warning of the other salesman and we promised by Eric that it would most likely be 4 weeks, but for sure 6. We’ll, it is august 12 and our doors have not even been shipped. I can’t get a straight answer from anyone. According to Eric, the company failed to inform him that they were shutting down the manufacturing plant for the entire month of July. Who knows, no one will explain and no one has ever apologized. DO NOT believe their promises. Obviously, I can’t comment on the quality of the product

The experience up to installation was perfect. You couldn’t ask for a better customer experience. However, everything after the scheduling of an installation date is a nightmare. The installation crew leaves stuff strewn around the outside of your property making it look trashy. In my experience the crew “noticed” damage to materials, that in my opinion was caused by them, after tearing out my shower and tub. Wouldn’t you want to check your materials before you leave the warehouse/shop ensuring that your materials are able to be installed? Based on my experience, Statewide Remodeling’s installation crew (3rd party, contractor, or direct hire) didn’t check anything before leaving to come complete the work. Therefore I’m looking at at least three days without a working shower and three days without access the shower needed for medical purposes. I’m not going to say do or do not use Statewide Remodeling. I’ll let you decide for yourself based on the facts presented.

Bathroom Project Update 1: The new shower looks amazing!!! But I can’t take a hot shower at all. I’ve even tried turning the thermostat up on my water heater with no luck.

Bathroom Project Update 2: A new project manager took over and my bathroom installation/update experience was much improved. Now the bookkeeping/collections/accounts receivable department is next to show if they know how to treat customers.

I had Statewide Remodeling install 5 new windows, ordered at approximately the same time as the bathroom upgrade. One of them leaked during this last batch of bad weather. Their solution is throw some caulk on it an call it done. No acknowledgment of the bucket of water inside my house or of the damage from the window leak.

The team from Statewide Remodeling did a fabulous job on my tub-to-shower conversion. Kyle and De'Ante were a great team and worked hard for 2 days. I don't think I ever saw them take a break. They even put up with our 4-legged friends who insisted on keeping an eye on everything.

Kyle kept me posted throughout the entire process. Within a few hours, the walls were down, and the marble garden tub had been removed. By the end of the first day, they had put in the new drain, the green walls, and the shower floor. They left everything so clean, even though they were coming back the next day.

Day 2 began with installing the walls. They put up the shower walls, the bench and grab bars, and the trim around the window. I absolutely love the Kohler Luxstone walls and the shower floor. The bench and window trim are made from the same material as the floor. It feels luxurious.

They took care to cover everything; from counter to floor. They even covered the path they used from the front door to the bathroom. They cleaned everything up when they were finished. They even cleaned the bathroom carpet, where it got a small stain.

I would recommend Statewide Remodeling to anyone. This is the second tub-to-shower conversion they have done for me, and I've been extremely pleased each time.

I'll definitely use them for my next remodeling job.

I spent a lot of money and waited a long time for the windows. Not all the windows are working as they should and there is a lot of paint work that is left undone. The project just got finished so there's not much else I can say about the entire job. I do like that it's a lifetime warranty so we'll see how that goes. I really do like the windows and how they came out except the exterior look. The cost is more than what I expected it would be but agreed on what was proposed. I would recommend this company.
