There's a restroom here and some information posted. You can cross the dam from here, and it's a good starting point for ice fishing in the winter. The busy-ness of the reservoir tends to be a bit lower most times, especially compared to nearby Strawberry Reservoir. In 2016 there was a forest fire out this way, and some sightings of wolf-dog hybrids, but all in all it's a fairly quiet area, a lot of wildlife is there to be taken in, and the dam is accessible year-round because the Central Utah Water Conservancy District has a site just up the road from here and they need year-round access. Part of the drive up is dirt, but it's fairly well maintained and cars have no problem making it to this point, though in the winter it can get icy, especially along some of the tighter curves in the road along the way up. Expect to see a lot of deer during migration seasons and early spring.
