Underside of tables have a uniquely pleasant texture. Also, the risotto dish I ordered was absurdly tasty and I'm not even a big fan of risotto.

Pricey, but well worth it. The food and service is top notch, and my wife is rather fond of their creative cocktail menu. Great ambiance for a romantic meal out.

If someone recommends you a place named "starry night cafe" it has to be the best restaurant in Vermont for them not to look idiot!

I called ahead to ask if they could accommodate gluten-free & vegan dietary restrictions, and I was told that they could, so I made a reservation. The waitress was expecting us and went over the menu and options, and added that if we were to trust the chef and ask that he create a gluten-free vegan entree, he could do that. So that's what we opted for, and after sharing a delicious salad with grilled asparagus, we received a risotto based dish with fresh veggies and pesto. It was absolutely delicious!! Kudos to the chef for being able to accommodate our dietary restrictions with grace and flavor. They should definitely add a vegan entree to the regular menu, but even if they don't, I'll happily return and request something special again.

I lived in Chittenden County for 4 years and Addison County for 2 before finally making it to Starry Night Cafe--and it is hands down the best meal I've had in Vermont! Creative cocktails, exquisite entrees, and delectable desserts. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is simple and rustic yet fancy enough to feel special. A great place for a special occasion.
