Loved it! The fancy option is good, but a lot of food - come with an empty stomach. Ambience was great. Cocktail selection was limited. We got moscato on the house for a birthday celebration!
The Chef's Menu is the way to go.
Great menu and our favorite place during restaurant week.
Get. The chef's menu. DO IT.
Get the Chef's Menu .. Just get it & don't ask any questions. It will be well worth it.
Get the chef's choice menu, no don't think - just get it.
Order the $45 tasting menu. Great deal for a lot of food!! 6 tapas-style apps, pasta dish, meat dish and dessert!!
I always enjoy sitting at the bar at this place. Great food and amazing staff.
Try the Composed Salad Of Beets With Soft Bodied Egg, Watercress, Avocado, Radish - Dinner @ESRSeattle with @shehanikay!
If possible, try to avoid sitting near the door when it's cold - super breezy and uncomfortable since the door doesn't close very fast.
Must echo the other tipsters and recommend the chef's menu. It's a truly delectable experience
Don't worry about the menu- let the kitchen make the decisions
Skip the menu and let them bring whatever the chef sends you!
The clams with chorizo they served as part of antipastos for Restaurant Week are delicious, and I don't even like clams! Make sure to get extra bread for the broth.
Spied... A cow in the wall?
Ethan Stowell offers a family-style multicourse option in his bedimmed and brick-lined Staple and Fancy, for just $45 per diner—and a whopping 80 percent of his patrons choose it...

Honestly, just OK. Go to Walrus and Carpenter in the rear. Seriously!
