  I got a bid from Joe (the owner) for a roof replacement for my rental property, an 1850 sq. ft. townhome in Vancouver. Joe was responsive, timely, and professional with his bid. He gave me a fair bid and was able to sufficiently explain his bid process and price justifications. Stanley Roof uses a locally-manufactured shingle that is a significant step up from builder-grade quality. His bid was in the same range as other roofers, yet he offers a better shingle, better quality roof accessories, and a solid workmanship guarantee.
  
  Once we signed our contract and I put money down, he started right away with shingle delivery. He was up front with the timeline for completion and was able to stick to the timeline with ease. He texted me pictures along the way to show me what kind of wear I had underneath my old roof. Joe's crew had to do some minor structural repairs on an eve and gave me a great rate for the work and materials. The final price was only a few hundred more than the estimate since he had already included 2 sheets of plywood in the original estimate.
  
  I enjoyed working with Joe and would recommend Stanley Roof and Solar to anybody I know. They were fair with price, professional in communication and timeline, and performed quality work with quality materials.

  New roof: As good as it gets! Roof was installed in September and we've now test driven it for a few months and its performing perfectly. No leaks and it looks GREAT! From beginning to end Stanley Roofing did an exemplary job. They quoted clearly and explained our options. They were not the cheapest quote we were given but everything they did was worth the tiny bit extra.thank you.

  We had a nightmare experience with one of the larger contractors here in Vancouver area. The roof they installed started leaking right away in the last heavy rain we had. Multiple phone calls they were unable to find the issue and after a couple weeks my homeowners insurance sent an adjuster out. The insurance company asked me to get another opinion, enter Stanley Roofing- they inspected the roof and found the entire installation to be faulty. The nails were over driven through the shingles and were in the cracks between the shingles. The insurance adjuster deemed it a total loss and suggested hiring a different roofing company to do it right. This time I went with Stanley- they were the only ones able to properly identify the cause of the leaks and determine the problems and articulate it to the adjuster in a way he could understand. They replaced the roof with Malarkey (they are certified by the shingle company) replaced most of the gutters that were destroyed by the large previous contractor (message me for their name, they should be avoided at all costs!) They threw in gutter screens for me at no charge because my area is covered in trees and the gutters fill up really fast. I was extremely on edge going through this process again after the first process but am relieved at how much easier the process was to undo what the other contractor did. While the cost was more than the original contractor, I got new gutters and gutter covers included in this new bid. The shingles are better quality as well. I know one thing, Ill never buy another house that needs a roof every again.

  We are very pleased with our new roof system. Julio sat down with my wife and I and went through the entire process explaining each product and how it interacts with the others. Stressed the importance of upgrade certain items like pipe flash products and installing ice shield on other areas. We decided to replace our skylights too since they were original with the home in 2001. While the process was lengthy, I felt better educated by the end of it and confident in my selections. Especially for how much money we were spending, I really feel like I made the best decisions with Julio and Luke's guidance. The install process was quick and easy as well, clean up was excellent. I have no complaints and heaven forbid I have to do this again, I know who to call.

  I have a house and noticed water dripping from a bathroom door jamb.
  This was a Sunday evening. Monday morning I went and did a inspection in the approximate area where the leak occurred. With my foot I felt rotting plywood underneath, adjacent to a skylight. I called four roofing company's that same hour, only Stanley Roofing owner, Joe agreed to come out, and was on my roof doing an inspection that afternoon. I informed him that I was only taking bids for work to be done. He provided an estimate, told me what he would do and that other roofing companies will charge about the same. Stanley did have the best reviews out of all the companies that I called, and had them on the top of my list out of four in consideration. I asked when he could start and to my surprise he said he could have a crew removing the old roof within 2 weeks. He counseled me (not pressured) in what types of roof he could install, gave me an estimate and afterword's it's what I ended up paying. They started the following Tuesday morning and finished Thursday afternoon with a steady crew of 3 but sometimes up to 5. They were nice, but very hardworking. I was impressed enough to tip them. Interestingly, they started on a managed to get the roof done during the three days of clear weather. It started snowing directly after they finished and dumped snow all weekend. The potential water damage inside my house due to the amount of snow, I gladly will never know due to Stanley roofings fast action.
