Don’t get fooled by these crooks. Went there expecting a cottage with good breakfast, Nice beds and a durable place. It was dirty and filled with bugs. When I was on the phone with them they told me the featured Cottage in these photos was where I will be staying. It wasn’t AT ALL. I stayed at a trashy Mobile Home for the night there and the next day I left that piece of trash and went back home. And I was told there is good food, Not at all. I was told on the phone that there is great bacon and some people go there to taste the bacon, They were all out of bacon when I went to eat. Tombstone was fun and interesting but the Stampede Inn is not good or durable at all.
The Owners were nice and helpful about Tombstone. Food was good. Bed sucked. It sank in middle. The bed rail was held up by folded up towels. Bending was as old as when I was five. Had two sleepless nights. I informed owner about bed. Later she came by and said she had open cabin behind us. Thought she was being nice and let us move everything. I went in to get key and she wanted us to pay difference. I read reviews before seen same complaints.thought it would be fixed. But we were only in cabin for about 6 hours at night. Our last night I wasn't about to pay more for a few sleeping hours. Never again will I stay there. Cabin was beautiful. They were not mobile home single wide. Headboard was just place against wall. Owners failed to accommodate and fix issue. It would have been different if they would have said they had an opening if we were willing to pay difference, not offer like they were trying fix problem. Seemed like they more in for money than pleasing guests. Yes cabins are small. These cabins were comfortable size movable and had everything needed. Next time I will try elsewhere
They called it bed and breakfast, and it makes sense because the room service man spilled my food all over the bed.
Cozy and nice, no complaints.
Wonderful people, great service and an amazing breakfast! You will feel as welcome as a local if you stay here.
Wonderful folks, superb hospitality and excellent cooking! This is a great place to stay in Tombstone. They offer: RV hook-ups, places to pitch your tent, cabins and even mobilehomes to stay in! The facilities are clean and inviting with wonderful western décor and a comfortable atmosphere. Throw in satellite tv and wi-fi to boot!
Don't miss breakfast - it is delightful with excellent home cooking, great company and wonderful conversation plus all the coffee you can drink!
The Stampede is just down Allen Street from all the main attractions so walking won't leave you out of breath.
I am definitely going to book with these folks on our next trip down on the bike. I don't work at or for the Stampede - I just believe that folks like these deserve a pat on the back! Check them out and check-in, you won't be sorry!
