Description

The Vision of Sree Venkateswara Temple of Cleveland is to create a serene and architecturally delightful abode for Lord Venkateswara according to the Agama Sastras, and enhance the religious and spiritual experiences of its devotee community.

The temple’s Mission that will help achieve its Vision includes the following objectives:

To perform all pujas at prescribed regularity as per Agamas and scriptures.
To build a community hall to get together to nurture our culture, heritage and develop a bond between community members.
To provide an opportunity to future generations to learn about our culture, heritage, scriptures and Sanatana dharma (Ageless Wisdom).

While emphasis is on the long-term promotion of the temple’s vision, the short-term goal is to complete adding architectural details to the existing structure and be debt-free not before long.
Established in 2006, the Sree Venkateswara Temple of Cleveland endeavored to build a place of worship for Lord Sree Venkateswara that would benefit all His devotees in Northeast Ohio and beyond.

After seven years of committed work of many generous patrons and selfless volunteers, the dream of establishing a Kaliyuga Vaikuntam has been fulfilled. Since becoming operational in 2013, the temple has been a center of religious celebration, learning and a variety of socio-cultural activity, successfully bring devotees together to pray, celebrate and share experiences in the spirit of being a Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family). Supported by 4 learned priests, a strong Board Of Trustees, many committees and countless passionate volunteers, this divine place of worship owes its steady growth to its mindfulness of our Hindu heritage and commitment to a healthy and inclusive extended community.
