  This is a great chill little place to get haircut. They do more floofy stuff too if you're into that, but I go there for the raw quality of the cuts my stylist can do because it grows out nicely and continues to look great between cuts. Oh and if they offer you wine, accept! It's probably something decent since wine source is nearby.

  A nice atmosphere, and I liked to go there. But when I decided to have a short hair cut, it did not work. Once few years ago it was too short. With another stylist yesterday it ended up completely different from what we discussed. After we looked at the pictures multiple times and I showed what I want. My impression was, that she does not know how to cut hair short, though I was not asking for anything complicated.... At the end she was in a hurry because another person was waiting... so... it is annoying to immediately want to go to a hairdresser to change it all after spending $70 and an hour + of my very precious time. Very disappointed.

  This was my second time here and it's been great both times. I followed Carey Elizabeth from another salon to this one and I'm glad I did. She's awesome and the salon is lovely.

  I was recommended here by a friend and got probably the best haircut of my life.
  The person making the appointment asked about hair texture and length, which I'm guessing is to get you to the best stylist for your hair type.
  The stylist I saw was Cary Elizabeth and she was great at taking my word salad of what I wanted my hair to do and making it happen. After finishing the basic cut she did two or three adjustments based on what I wanted and it turned out really great. Sometimes I have a hard time speaking up (especially when I know so little lingo and don't necessarily know how to explain things)

  Naomi is awesome ...especially if you have short hair, she not only enjoys cutting short hair but is actually really good at it too. Hard to find.
  
  Update : been going here exclusively for over two years now. Would recommend without hesitation. Service is wonderful. Reminders are timely, store is immaculate and there are hand made beauty products that are great!

  They are the best. Organic, super friendly, and so good. Cliff Butler was chosen as one of the top stylists in Baltimore and deservedly so.

  I've been trying to achieve a very specific coloring in my hair for over a year now, and just when I was about to completely give up someone recommended I try out Sprout. Before scheduling an appointment, I called to get a better idea of the place, to see if they could get me what I wanted. They were so nice and patient and left me feeling confident enough to make an appointment. My stylist was Meaghan, and after showing her a couple of photos of what I wanted, as well as photos of what stylists ended up doing to my hair in the past, she very confidently told me she could make it happen. She was very straightforward about what I should expect in this visit and even let me know what changes I could expect in future visits (like how certain colors would get even lighter). The whole process was very enjoyable and I felt very comfortable the whole time. They even had someone refill my parking meter for me! I'm absolutely in love with my hair, I can still hardly believe I finally got exactly what I've been wanting for so long. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable for the quality of service. I will definitely be going back!
