Sprenger Cattle Co is focused on the production of forage developed Angus, Hereford and F1 cattle for the commercial cattle industry. Sprenger Cattle Co holds an Annual Bull Sale the first weekend in November.
They sure are a good set of Cowgirls. Look out Dale Brisby.
A couple girls thought that is was mighty chilly out this morning.
We preg checked 147 heifers that we bred for 45 days last week. Only 7% open. Not a single Herford ended up open. Gotta love those numbers. Our help wasn't bad either.
The Sale Flier is done. Take a look at www.sprengercattle.com
We have decided to sell our Sr. Herdsire HL MR BRITISHER 130Z. Reg. #43457505
He is an easy calving bull that we have used and sold semen on some very large heifer projects. He has been our primary Hereford bull for the last 4 years. The daughters that we have are moderate sized females with great udders.
Britisher is a frame score 1-2 bull. He has a very deep chest floor, heavy deep side and a strong muscular hind quarter. I feel he is a great representative of the Bonsma ...type.
If you are not looking for the hole bull we do have semen available.
PM for price.
See MoreOur cover crop is coming along nicely. A big Thank You to Todd Shrotberger at 308 Ag for helping put it together.
I finished up on deliveries. We sent 3 bulls to the ID ranch in WY. Thank you Will and Kricket. What a beautiful ranch. It's great to get out and see someone else's prospective on things.
On occasion I find a reason to stop and slow down. Today I found one. I watched these Sharpetail grouse 30 minutes. Growing up we didn't have any Sharpies around. It wasn't until about 9 years ago the started showing up. I've known where a few leeks are but I had never seen this one. I got within 20 yards of them. Simply awesome. #uplandsharpies
I had some great help getting things ready for my bale grazing experiment. I love being able to spend their days off with me.
Picking up these rounds, So the ladies will have forage when winter pounds. The Lord has entrusted us these beasts, So we'll ensure they'll have a feast. #roundsofvariety
