Sprankles is not the cleanest and tidiest of stores. It's a local food market that's located beside a river and has seen its fair share of indoor floods, hence the dusty mildew like atmosphere you smell when you walk in the door. I strongly recommend you check the expiration date on anything before you buy it. There have been numerous occasions where they have been known to restamp and sell soured pork, chicken & beef as in-store specials. This includes canned foods as well, so don't feed your infant formula from Sprankles without checking the expiration date!
