Great food. Old home atmosphere. My favorite in the area.

Good steak for a very fair price. Just don't hope for much from the salad bar. Baked potato was great.

This is a very nice place to eat. It's out in the country and they have a large selection of delicious food to choose from. The restaurant decor is very inviting and the waitresses are friendly and very careful to give great service.

Great food! More of an upscale restaurant.

I like the building and the way it's set up but the food's too expensive for the quality and when you finish, they bring the bill, you pay, and if you decide to stick around to eat just make sure your glass is already full bc the waitress/waiter won't come back.

I took my wife out for her birthday and my mother and sister asked to join us. My mother is 84 years old and confined to a wheel chair. I sent my wife in to see how I could get my mother in the Lodge. They have a wheel chair ramp at the side door. I got my mother out and to my surprise the ramp is only 30 inches long and goes up about 16 inches, then you need to lift the chair up 5 inches to get in. I just could not do it. My sister and I placed the chair inside and help my mother walk up the ramp. Once we had her in the chair you have no room to turn around. I had to guide her into the kitchen, turn her 90 degrees with a burner on the stove with nothing on it. I then pulled her and had to make 2 more 90 degree turns. Once we were at the table the service was great. The waiter kept our drinks full and did a great job. I also forgot to say my mother is also legally blind. The food was very good for my wife, mother and sister. My chicken was over cooked and very dry. I have ordered this before and it was great. This time it was not on rice like before. The saratoga chips I had was only around 6 to 7. This is the smallest amount I have ever had from the spillway. The customers help us get my mother out the front so we did not have to go through the kitchen. I understand the lodge is grandfathered in for the handicap. They need to look at this and their business will grow. I expected to get the same good food as I have over the years but it was not.
