As much as they are trying to improve the rest of Speedway. Certain area's of the shopping center are in need of help also. Cars speeding through parking lots. Cars driving the wrong way down the parking lot. Trash everywhere. In need of some tlc.
Good for quick trips. At certain times traffic can get a little heavy. This is my one stop shopping mall. From groceries to clothes to gasoline, everything is right there.
There are four or five places that I shop at. Kroger's, Sally's Beauty Supply, Dollar Tree, and rainbow, also Bath and Beauty. These are the only places I enjoy shopping at, besides eating at the restaurant as Speedway Mall too. 😃
This is a great shopping location. Alot of stores to choose from a long the entire strip. Plenty of eating places to choose from too.
We had to switch rooms twice due to some issues, but the employees were easy to work with and they eventually made it right on our charges. The rooms are very updated, clean and neat with good accommodations. Probably wouldn't use this place again due to one of the issues. But overall okay.
Seems like there's always a wait on the drive through, but it's like that everywhere now days. Food was hot and delicious.
Speedway shopping center is a very unique and magnificent place to shop at health food stores and shops of 24-hour Kroger or pet stores or MCL Cafeteria also Petco the seven other shops that you can shop free parking
There are good stores in here, but I would not go here during high peak times. It is hard to get out of your spot during these times. People drive fast in the parking lot so be careful crossing to get to your store of choice.
The Speedway Shopping Center has a lot of options. There are casual and affordable places to eat scattered throughout. The MCL is pretty much as fancy as it gets. Everything from automotive repair shops to beauty school is available. They have a Petco, Kohl's, Dollar Tree, and a Kroger. Their Bath & Body Works is pretty great. It's a decent place to check out and most of the shops are clean and well-kept. I live nearby and I haven't been into one that is out of hand. It can be a sort of teenager spot, but in an affordable date kind of way. There has never really been an issue.
There is always trash everywhere. Half the shopping center is empty. Cars driving the wrong way down the parking lots. As a long time Speedway resident I appreciate the upgrade of Main Street and the newly developed center by 465 and High School Rd. But what about the existing empty bldgs that are now eyesore to the thousands of visitors that come into town every year.
Great Kroger located here, A bunch of fast food in the area, even at Chipotle nearby. Places to get your haircut, buy beauty supplies, pet store, MCL Diner, clothing stores. A little bit past its Heyday though
I've been shopping here since I was kid in the 60's. Deducted a star for empty office spaces
Really nice Walmart and nice customer service. A little crowded
At one point in time that seems like an eternity ago, this was going to be the spot for lunch and some shopping. Well, it never quite made it even though there are some reputable retailers and decent places for lunch. Now it's home to quite a few closed down shops also.
Its pretty nice BUT.THE PARKING LOT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING.. NEEDS IMMEDIATE RECONFIGURATION! Driving through speedway is the most weirdest thing to do! That's all!
