Rustic camping pads with full hook ups. The person who checked me in was efficient and friendly. Sites have a nice cement pad with a table on the pad, and a fire pit just off. Very quiet and secure. Automatic gates for entering and exiting. Four stars because fire ant holes were everywhere around my site and absolutely tore my legs up. Good way to get a lot of steps inhad to keep moving.

We stopped by here for a few days before heading to Wilmington. This is a very nice, safe and relaxing campground. I don't know who the owner was from reading past reviews, but the super nice guy that checked us in was great. I made a mistake on the site we booked and he very kindly moved us to the site I originally wanted. We never felt anyone was watching us or uncomfortable during our stay. The sites are very spacious and clean with concrete pads and a fire pit Super dog friendly. The only thing we would have liked to have was the pool, but it looked like they were working on it. We will return the next time we are in the area.

Passing thru, needed 4 lots for 1 night. Called ahead & reserved. Had a breakdown on the way which set us back 5 hours. We called & they told us to come on even tho it would be late. Lots are large & well lit, concrete patios, full hookups. Easy in & out. Country setting. We will stay again when in the area.

****Updated in regards to owners response
At Lazy Acres the office is open until 6 pm for check in on Sundays. When we made the reservations I let them know we would be in between 5 and 530 pm on Sunday 3/20. At 520 pm (40 minutes prior to closing), as we are pulling into the road before the camp entrance, I'm receiving a call from the host on duty asking where we were. We arrived a moment later at the office to check in. The host on duty was gruff, almost rude, and did not want to answer questions. She made the first impression of the camp unwelcoming and cold. The gentleman who showed us to our site was friendlier and informative.
The grounds are clean but sparse/lacking in curb appeal. Hiking trail and pond were nice, relaxing, and very pleasant. Roads are sometimes hard to distinguish due to lack of markings. Bathhouse and laundry are clean and functional. The noise level was higher then I would normally like, but not intolerable. Campground is located near highway and airport.
    * Updated portion- originally called the gentleman a host*
Some gentleman, whose camp site was located to the immediate right of the office and who was seen using the golf carts that seem to be for host/employee use, appeared to be watching everyone all the time. He would pace in front of his camper door. Just going to the bathhouse I felt like I was being watched by the gentleman. He was also seen quickly getting into a golf cart and driving after a camper who had a pizza delivered to the exit gate.
Over all the camp was nice. Not sure I would stay again due to the many strict rules and the feeling of being watched. I felt like if we accidentally did something imperfect we would be charged a fee or asked to leave.
The hosts who were on duty Monday 3/21 and Tuesday 3/22(her name was Susan, I believe, didn't catch his name), were wonderful. They were friendly, informative, and helpful. Those two would be the reason we would consider coming again. They embody a welcoming feeling.
