Be careful with the counselors, you would find different help and info on each one of them.

What a joke to call this place a school. None of the counselors can pinpoint where you are in your education path and keep making you take extra classes that you don't need. The professors (at least most of them) are very unhelpful and uncaring towards their students. Once again, another institution made to roll in the dough from those who enroll.

I believe that a school graduation is a time to celebrate your achievements in school not a time to push your campuses political agenda. Your schools graduation turned into one giant democratic political rally and you did absolutely nothing to stop it. I left early because of how bad it was getting. I just can't support a school who allows it's students to incite violence at a graduation.

You have to know what you want to study because counselor's are not the best

Got many counselors to talk to and help me plan all my credits and semesters to get to the university I want to get to. All teachers are helpful and understanding with my disabilities as well

Make sure you track your credits/progress yourself. Professors are good but counsellors & evaluation staff is a complete nightmare! I basically got screwed over. Faculty never takes the initiative to help and evaluate your credits earned; they do not help guide you to path you want.

When I began attending this institution in January 2012, the communication via email with the administrative staff was very poor in following up with matters. I remember when I had to make the initiative to contact them again after it took nearly two weeks with no response. Since then, I had decided that it was best to simply call them, but the point was is that either way they should respond. However, the last time that I had corresponded with them via email in early 2015 the response time was less than a few hours, which I had appreciated, as that is how it should be.

I would suppose that anyone who has ever attended this particular school has had different experiences at different points in time with various aspects of this school. Compared with San Diego State University, I felt that the student body and the staff here generally were slightly more relaxed.

Great experience! Not only is it affordable, they give you all the tools necessary to succeed. Although some of the counselors pushed me towards a certificate, the professors really encouraged me to apply to a 4 year university. The small classrooms also give you the opportunity to talk to your professors and get to know your classmates. I am very grateful for having the opportunity to meet and learn from Prof. Hayashi, Prof. Jimenez, and Prof. Guaracha.
