Best place to get any laser, Waterjet, and now tube laser cutting in the state! Staff is courteous and Knowledgeable. They have fair prices and decent turnaround times. They will have all of my metal fab business from here on out.

I've worked with this team from multiple companies and on personal projects for years. It's a simple matter of sending them a shop drawing of what you want (or they can help you to build one), they quote it, you get the material to them or have them supply it, then you pick it up! The SWWJ team is easy to discuss best practices with or work with through issues. I recommend them all the time.

Chose this place for all the positive reviews, took a $200 1/2 sheet of steel to get a bunch of 1/2 holes spaced 4” apart, seems easy right. Made up a drawing, verbally told them I didn’t care if they were oversized, they just can’t be undersized. (I was just going to weld a bunch of nuts on the bottom to make myself a cool welding bench, the tolerance wasn’t critical, I just needed a bolt to fit through the hole). Had a good veteran to veteran conversation with the guy in the office and went on my way a happy customer. Few days later, earlier than expected I get a call that my job was done, awesome! I go pick it up. Bring it home, every hold is UNDERSIZED by .015! Try to drill them out but the steel is all hardened by the laser process. I call and talk to the “QC manager”, he’s rude as can be and tells me I didn’t “specify a tolerance” and basically tough luck! Tells me he’s going to talk to the designer and call me back the next day but because I didn’t put a tolerance on the drawing it’s not their problem. I never hear from him again. Thanks for turning some stock into scrap metal for me guys and allowing me to pay for it. Treated very poorly by these guys. Take your business elsewhere, there is plenty of competition in the valley.

We are constantly ordering parts from these guys. I always seem to need my parts sooner than their lead times due to the fast pacing movement of parts for our company. The majority of the time they are able to process my order faster than the expected lead time that is promised. Great company and people to work with!

Everyone at Southwest Waterjet & Laser is exceptional. They are kind and communicate throughout the entire project. They are happy to take on a project regardless of its size. The employees are always pleasant and are proud of the service they provide. Their prices are very reasonable and their lead times are better than average. The only drawback is they only accept DXF files. Highly recommended.
