We ended up needing to stay at Southern Comfort in our RV as temporary housing while we searched for a house in Homestead after relocating with our kids and dog for a couple of months. It was perfect for our needs, especially considering the affordable pricing, how close it was to everything, and the utility hookups. We absolutely loved the pool and met many nice people who passed through.

The only negative things we experienced were needing to take extra precautions not to attract fire ants into our RV (they could eat through bags, so thicker containers were required to keep them from hunting for our food)That's normal in Florida anyway, so I don't think I can blame the resort for that aspect. (We sprayed some deterrent on the outside areas of our RV that touched the ground to help, so after that and getting good food containers we didn't than scouting ants here and there. It felt similar to camping, but not as bad). Also, the internet was almost completely unusable unless you went into the clubhouse. We ended up just investing in unlimited data on our phones and using our hot spot for internet to solve that issue.

Very laid back. A little loud at night because of bar. Nice pool and restrooms. Very friendly staff.

We like it here. Everyone is friendly here. It's nice to have laundry facilities here. Very convenient. I checked on a couple different campgrounds and by far this is the nicest one I found. It is very close to all the shopping and gas stations around here. You could pretty well walk to anything you want around here.

Very pleased with this place, really nice pool which was very comfortable giving it as Southern Florida. Paid 32 for a campsite which was a little high from the 20 to 25 standard but we called a few others in the area and it was the cheapest. Not a lot of cheap accommodations in this area. Have laundry and showers on site and even a little Tiki Bar.

Stayed one night in March 2017 on way back North. Checked it out for a possible winter home. We stayed in our tent and used the showers. Slept well and had no problems. Did talk to one camper who stays here when he is called in to work at the local power plant. But do to time constraints did not get to check it out like we should have. We are considering as a place to park our 5th wheel camper for the winter, but the reviews are mixed and concerned about the lack of security as we will be working part-time and do not want to worry about problems when we are away. Also concerned about how soon they will close it for the development the parent company is doing next door. If open, we would stay again, just not sure about long term.

Nice park near the Florida keys. Just not going to be around for much longer. They are building a casino on site. So, enjoy for as long as its there.

Been staying here for a few months, and so far we've had people throwing fire crackers under people's campers and buses, have heard gun shots multiple times, and many things have been stolen. Management said it was none of their business and got upset when we called the police about our stolen items. There's a security guard but I have seen him at the bar more times than I have seen him actually doing his job. They have a gate that you need a code to get in and yet they leave it open 90% of the time, not keeping record of the people coming through. Not only that but they also have a huge gap in the fence in the back and claim that they don't know how random people are getting in. The lots are super close together and overall not very nice. Anyways, I would not recommend that you stay here.

Very well kept place. Has a nice pool above the bathhouse. Cute little tiki bar in the middle of the campground. Generally nice people staying here. Nice big areas to walk the dogs. I've seen a pair of peahens and a pair of iguanas. Large laundry facilities with about 12 each washers and dryers. Office staff is very friendly. If we come this way again I would definitely stay here!

The placement of this place is nice. Pretty right spots but they are alright. The Internet is nonexistent I am not sure why they even have it, a person can not stay connected to save their life.

Overall, a decent place to stay. Many spots are just all grass and fairly close together. There is a community sense here as every night there's a group congregated doing some activity. The bathrooms ate decent and there's a lot of washer and dryers. The check in girl is super cute. Close to the city but no traffic noise or trains. I stayed one night.
