We have dined here many times and love being able to bring our own wine. The freshest fish and the most fantastic homemade Lobster Bisque anywhere!

Owner Artie Hoerning is a commercial fisherman who reels in much of what he sells and serves. Excellent lobster rolls, fried clams, and fried or broiled whole fluke. BYOB and cash only.

The pasta served under the soft shell crab or lobster is even better the next day. I don't know what garlic butter they use, but it's amazing.

We visited South Shore Fish and Grill and enjoyed the fried clam bellies, softshell clams and lobster rolls -- all of which were very fresh.
