Having spent several years in the food industry business, Mr. Wagner realized a need for custom designed and quality crafted products. Together with his brother-in-law Paul Hopkins, they started a small business first run from their home. Here they fabricated food vendor carts and other kitchen items. To accommodate their rapidly growing customer accounts, Joe and Paul decided to purchase a shop in Camden. During that time, their brothers John, Robert and James joined the company, thus establishing this unique family business. As their reputation for quality work spread, the company hired several skilled employees to manage the ever increasing production line.

South Jersey Metal, Inc. employs several proficient mechanics, welders and polishers, many of whom happen to be second and third generation family members. Comprised of experienced and skilled craftsmen, South Jersey Metal, Inc. proudly delivers custom-tailored work to suit our customer’s individual needs.
