The South Brunswick Arts Commission sponsors a variety of programs: monthly Jazz Café, Poetry Series, Camera Club, and quarterly exhibits at The Gallery in the Municipal Building. Jazz Café performances are held monthly on Friday evenings from 8–10p.m. at the Herb Eckert Auditorium in the Senior Center. Monthly Camera Club meetings are held on Wednesday evenings, 7–9p.m. and our Poetry Series meets monthly on Sunday afternoons, 2–4p.m.
The Gallery in the South Brunswick Municipal Building features 4 art exhibits annually: juried themed shows open to central New Jersey artists and an invitational exhibit. This program is funded by a grant from Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission, etc.
The commission publishes a monthly ENewsletter and bi-monthly print newsletter. To receive the newsletter(s), contact the Arts Commission. To list your arts event, please send by the 15th of the preceeding month to arts@sbtnj.net.
The commission also maintains an Artist Registry open to Visual, Performing and Literary Artists in South Brunswick. The registry is available to businesses and organizations seeking individuals for exhibits and other programs. The Senior Center selects Registry artists for quarterly exhibits in cooperation with the Arts Commission. Life Drawing Sessions are also offered quarterly.

South Brunswick Arts Commission Meetings at which the public is welcome, are held the 3rd Thursday monthly, in the First Floor Lounge of the Municipal Building, 6:30pm. 2012 Meetings: January 19, February 16, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 14, July 19, August 16, September 20, October 18, November 15, December 20.
