Fantastic burger with gluten free bun option. There was some sort of jam that was an excellent pair with the beef. We also had a delicious Pot De Creme dessert. Would come back!
The restaurant is severed into two levels with an outside patio. In addition to holding live music a few times a month, they have a open seating area upstairs where groups can speak amicably and candidly about the issues that have brought them to the table. There is also patio seating upstairs for couples.
I imagine the cheese plates are quite delicious but I typically stick to the cocktail list. The old-fashioned was quite savory, I almost chased the maraschino cherry all the way to the Bodhi tree.
My friend ordered a pork chop and rose which she found to her liking, even boxing some of it up for a moonlight snack. Additionally, my other friend ordered a fine cut of beef, the steak was just rare enough to taste the flavor of beef, but just strong enough to turn you into a conflicted omnivore and take a second bite.
The service was excellent. We were quickly seated and our waiter fielded numerous request for information. Unfortunately, the other members of the table were not in for a round of “credit card roulette”. I could’ve had a 66% chance at a free meal.
The moonlight lounge would pair great for an after work escape with a few friends where you could enjoy a cocktail, live music, and appetizers in the post-modern and relatively trendy urban environment of Downtown Encinitas.
The food here is delicious! Service was excellent, as well.
I️ had their seasonal vegetable dish. Which came out later than everyone else’s dishes and was a bit undercooked.
Other than that little slip, everyone else at the table said their dinners were great and apps were good, as well.
On the pricier side. (But, what isn’t in CA?)
Love their little bit on straws!
Amazing experience. A lovely way to end our vacation. The wait staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Wonderful artwork too.
Great happy hour spot right off PCH in Encinitas. $1 oysters, good selection on the menu, creative cocktails and nice beer selection.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and very professional servers. This is the type of restaurant chefs would eat at. Very accommodating in terms of making food specifically how do you like it and an excellent wine menu and a beautiful bar and Terrace. Probably nice place to take a date for dinner and there's Sunday brunch is to die for.
Fun, friendly place to dine. One of the few dressy places in Encinitas. Tasty food, good wine list, helpful staff!
Decided to drive a little north from San Diego to go to a different beach town. Solace was on a convenient part of town and was AMAZING! The grilled cheese was so good and so flavorful yet simply. They even gave us a complimentary dessert cause our sandwiches took longer than I guess they should have...I'll take it! Thanks solace. Def will return
Food was delicious, presensation appealing and craft drinks amazing. Service friendly, but a tad slow.
One of my go-to date night spots. Lovely ambiance, excellent food and drinks. Menu selection is excellent and staff is always friendly and professional.
Expensive but delicious food. Oysters on the half shell were decent at best. Appetizer portions are not very large and hardly shareable.
Love love love! Food was unique and special. Everything you would want out of a local restaurant. Sit upstairs and come before sundown to enjoy life.
Nice establishment but they gave me food poisoning :(. Like really bad food poisoning... I saw a review on yelp that said the same thing but I just hoped it was a one time thing. I can confirm that it is not a one time thing. Good food, good drink selection, but the kitchen must have a sanitation issue or needs to learn how to handle meats better. Won't go again.
