    The Secoial Security Offic in Tampa is a joke, you can't call to make an appointment to see anyone. Your call is sent to the main 800 number. when you go into there office not only do you wait for hours to see someone, but they are so rude. They give you a hard time about food or water coming in, but many of us are on medications which have to be taken with food. Just not right, and if you are in a wheelchair or have a power scooter there in no place to put to sit and wait

    The line is atrocious. Workers cannot spell your information out, you always have to check them. The waiting area outside is under constant sun rays and is hot.

    Worst SS office I have ever been to! The security was ridiculous to the extent they went to check peoples belongings. Never been to an office in FL with that much crazy security! I tried calling to make an appointment, but they either wouldn't answer or call me back. Went into the office waited an hour before my number was called. Then the person at the window said, "i can't help you, only so and so can. Have a seat they will call you by name." Sat down waited another 2 hours and still nothing! Walked up to a window and explained my situation the guy was very friendly. He looked into it and said it'll be at least 20 more mins before so and so gets to you. I explained I couldn't wait any longer. He talked to someone and they took all my paperwork, but still no one had returned my calls! Went to the other office by the airport only waited 45 mins and everyone was so much more friendly and helpful!

    the spanish security office moved a lady from end of line to beginning of line just because she spoke Spanish some pissed off people that had been waiting a long time-needs to guard an outhouse-the person inside I dealt with was very nice and professional

    I arrived on time for my appointment, and I checked-in and received a receipt with a number..After waiting for 30 minutes, I informed an employee at one of the windows that I had an appointment at 12:15 and I asked if they knew when I'd be seen;.The person at the window repeated three times,"You cannot ask questions at the window." I waited another 30 minutes before going to security and telling them that it was an hour past my appointment and I was still waiting. The guard told me to go sit down and be patient. I waited another hour when someone finally sat behind the information desk for the first time since I had arrived at 12:15 pm. I went to him, and he acknowledged that something was wrong. He talked with one of the clerks at a window. I was finally seen at 2:45. Horrible experience. Despite the fact that I had made an appointment for a specific time, I sat for two hours and no one would listen to me or help me!

    Came to pick up reward report. When my husband turn came, lady in window D on May 22 around 12:19 slam the window down and never come back. Asked security officier for manager, and he denied to call saying there is no such a think as manager.went back to the next window and ask for help. Finnaly other clerk come from window C and printed one, even when my ticked specified window D. Where is the system to handle the operation with printed tickets. Lived in 3rd world country and this one,is turning to one.thanks

    People have to stand and wait outside in the Heat. The worst place ever and nobody cares to improve it. Staff acts rude and slow, line is super long every day people wait outside.

    Not efficient enough. People have to wait too long. There's gotta be a better way in streamlining services so people are not inconvenienced because they have other appointments they need to make. And, given the restrictive operating hours, there isn't much leeway in accomplishing anything.

    The guards are beyond RUDE!!! It is very apparent these guards (whom couldn't make it through the police academy) think they are so much more than they really are...having a power trip and believe anyone visiting a social security office must be scum....the only scum I found were the GUARDS!!! The Social Security office needs to hold these guards accountable for their behavior and quite frankly these guards should be fired!!! However, once you get past these COMPLETE INCOMPETENT FOOLS.....the SSA employees are very pleasant and helpful. I did speak to the Office Manager this morning and filed a complaint. I am hoping I can take the manager at his word that he would look into this issue. People - STOP putting up with this treatment - you deserve better!!!

    Went to change my name, they put in the incorrect street address to mail a new social security card. The address they said when verifying the information was correct, when they handed me the written letter from SSA it was incorrect. Lovely that SSA has now exposed me to potential identity theft.

    WHERE ARE THIS OFFICE V.O.C (VOICE OF THE CUSTOMERS SURVEYS) This office need to watch the YouTube video on "Empathy: The Human Connection To Patient Care." You never know what someone else is going through and most of the time someone is in your office not because we want to be there but because we have to be. The service that some of the worker offer is not very inviting at all. Most suggestion is that some find a new job immediately because you are not there for the servicing (meeting or exceeding expectations). I now understand why they are not required to write notes on your profile when you speak or see someone in their office it is because they DO NOT WANT TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO WHAT THEY TELL YOU. I HAVE LEARN FROM THE LAST 5(FIVE) DAY OF GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM, LITERALLY! I HAVE YET TO RECEIVED THE CORRECT ANSWER BUT HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO SUPERVISOR THAT DO NOT RETURN CALLS! There is something that needs to be done to change the service that is given here. THE WORKER SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE TYPE OF SERVICE THEY ARE PROVIDING! 😤😤😞😯
