Surprisingly good little gastro pub for a small town. Chicken sandwich was definitely knife and fork work but worth the effort. Too early in the day for a drink, maybe next time.

The food is very good but for the price, on some items, U get small portions. Atmosphere is good. The server we had was ok. Overall experience we will not go again.

What a quirky little place in, of all places, Lasalle IL. Food had enough of a twist to make it interesting, including a few non-traditional specials. Very comfortable room. The only negative in my experience was the service which was too slow. I'm not a picky service person so when I actually notice how slow it is, it means there is a problem. But overall, it is an interesting spot in a small central Illinois town.

My first visit to the restaurant 6/2/17 and I will say it was a pleasant one. I ordered the pork wings and I must say they were wonderful and so was their special homemade ranch dip. My friend ordered the bacon onion burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches, it came with a ton of fries. The one thing we missed was the salt! Her French fries really needed it. We will return though.

Had the American burger. The quality of this hand pattied all beef burger fit the bill. The house pickles skewered through the top of the bun completed the deal.

Let's just say that my girlfriend and I live over an hour away, and we'd make that drive again just for this restaurant.

My girlfriend has a dairy allergy, and this place accommodated her allergy with no hassles. In fact, they went above and beyond, checking each ingredient in her items for dairy. Compared to other places we have been, we were impressed. Moreover, this place boasts some incredible brews, even an epic non-alcoholic beer from Germany (on-tap at the time of this review).

On a whim, we decided to get the Black Bean Hummus as an appetizer, and I am glad we did! This hummus IS TO DIE FOR! We'd make that aforementioned hour drive just for this hummus. Nonetheless, there is more

The sandwiches we got were out-of-this-world. The bearded legend chef could not have done a better job (see pictures). All along the way, we were treated with fantastic service. Overall, this place is a gem in LaSalle, and worthy of the 15 minute drive from Starved Rock, or the hour drive for me and my girlfriend.
