  I was skeptical about Soapy joes. But I gave em a try , and gotta admit I'm impressed. The cars come out very clean and almost dry. Final drying and touch ups is a breeze. Monthly pass at $20 for unlimited washes is an exceptional value!

  The only reason that I give this place 3 stars, is the employees are really nice and it is a quick easy option for washing our cars- it does the job without exceeding my expectations. Otherwise, meh.
  When I moved, they wouldn't refund the money from my monthly service even though I cancelled online before they charged me. Plus, it was very hard to get through. They kept telling me someone would call me back and no one did. For almost a week I called multiple times daily...
  They also stopped us one day telling us we couldn't go through with a "boat" on top of the car, which was actually our car top carrier (we had gone through numerous times with never an issue). The line was long and we tried to explain that it had never been an issue, that they even sold us a monthly pass without saying anything, but we still got pulled out of line so we could talk to the manager. She then said that the carrier was fine as long as we accepted the risk of it getting damaged and tried to blame someone else for her mistake AND then we had to get in the back of the line to go through when it was very busy. This was at their Escondido location.
  Ease of washing and the staff is great, but management is unprofessional and customer service does not seem to be a priority at their "corporate" office.

  They got rid of the compressed air sprayers by the vaccums, those were really nice.... And the guy used to mop your windshield down really well before going in the wash, now they just kinda spray it with soap...what's the point of the guy being there? The machine can do that

  Although it only whales the car but it does a good job. You have to dry and vackum your self. They supply the rags and vackum on both sides.

  Came here to clean the car with my mom. We had a problem with the car wash not drying. I told the manager and without even hesitating he had us go through the thing again with the extras.
  
  I'm really happy here with the service. I had been year a few years ago and the service wasn't great.

  I USED to love Soapy Joe's. The vacuums and towels are awesome. I became a member and happily pay my monthly charge to keep my car clean. However, now there are only the large vacuums available. They took half of their vacuum hoses out, which means you may only be able to vacuum the driver's side of the car, but not the passenger side. Heaven forbid you want to vacuum in tight spots because they got rid of those hoses. I may have to cancel my membership, which is a bummer because the people who work there are wonderful and accommodating, but I need to be able to vacuum my car on both sides and in the narrow spots.

  Sometimes there are problems with the operation of the wash when I go, but the staff and the price are great. It appears more recently that the recurring issues have been less frequent.

  If you want to cancel, it takes the company up to 2 weeks (7-10 business days) to cancel your account. I cancelled the last business day of the month when I sold my car. I called customer service and was told that I would be charged for the following month because that's how their system works. I was told that if I want to come back, they'll credit my account for one month. I explained that I don't want credit, I want the subscription cancelled. When I realized I was not getting anywhere with the customer service support, I notified them I would dispute it with my bank.
  
  I order a package from Amazon and it arrives without issue in 2 business days. The year is 2017. It took Soapy Joe's 4 business days to cancel my account. Unacceptable.

  This is the perfect place for the do it yourself car wash. It's about half the cost of do it yourself at the stalls type car wash. They let you use the vaccums and micro fiber towels for free. If you buy one level up from the bottom you even get a air deodorizer hanger thing. And for 20$ a month... All you can wash your single car... Duh. No brained here if you like to save money.

  Last time I was here the car wash ripped the chrome lining around one of my doora completely off my brand new car. Not worth getting your car destroyed. Lesson learned.

  I love cleaning/washing both my cars here. I have monthly plan where I can wash my car as many times as I want within the month. Basic plan start at $15. It is essentially a good deal since one wash will coat you $7

  I only come here if I have to. The wash itself is nice, very foamy and feels like your vehicle is getting clean. But that is about it. What is bad about this location is the vacuuming stations. They seem to always be clogged and not working at peak performance. Also, one time I showed up later in the day, almost at closing time and I couldn't dry my car because every single towel they had in the "clean bin" was soaked.

  Entrance to wash here is better, smoother than San Marcos. No banging on undercarriage as the car enters. Wash just doesn't clean that well. Sometimes have to go back around for simple things like mud on side panels. Tire shine has been out of service for a long time here too.

  Great self vacuum car wash. They provide drying towels and the vacuums work well. A bit expensive though. Hard to see from the street as it is behind another business. Open late 8 to 8.
