Was surprisingly more fun than I thought it would be! We went tubing and we were way entertained. It was just one slope, but it was a ton of fun. We hit some pretty high speeds, which was fun. The ski area seemed pretty fun. Their were quite a lot of slopes and it would be a great place to learn how to ski. It was a little pricy, but I come from out west where it is a little cheaper to ski.

Great place to take the kids to learn. I recently had my daughter (7) take the one hour lesson. While she was learning to ski I was able to take a few runs down the bigger hill which was nice. Courtney did a great job being patient with the kids while motivating them learn also. I was speaking with another dad who agreed this is the place to learn. It’s location is close within an hour from south Kansas City and the price is right. Avoid the outrageous cost out west in the Rockies, learn here..

It is so exciting to have a little bit of the mountains in the KC area. I love Weston so much, and this place perfectly fits in a little corner of it. For my friends and I, this was our first time skiing, and we had a blast! We made a lot of progress. Mostly on the bunny slope haha. Definitely study up a bit on YouTube beginner ski videos beforehand. They have college discount weeks, so that’s helpful. The facility and equipment is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful (especially the boot rental lady that helped us)! (P.S. if your toes are touching the front of your boots they are too small and if you were to ski in too small boots you could break your toes) I’m SO excited to come back, try the tubing for the first time, and go skiing again! ❄️

This place is a gem. This is the ideal place to learn to ski. Great quality rental equipment. Practice Hill with a conveyor belt ramp. Rope pull beginner hill, and three lifts offering some intermediate thrills. Top it off with great, friendly staff and reasonable costs and it’s a winter winner. $2 hot cocoa anyone? $40 Sunday afternoon lift AND rental? Oh, did I mention everything is lit for night skiing?

Great opportunity for a day outing. I've been twice now. Really fun they provide you with all the right stuff. The lodge is nice and big. They have food and drinks in the lodge as well. Slopes are maintained well and the lifts are well lifts. Highly recommended for families and group events.

Do not go here expecting to find a Colorado-style ski resort. Snow Creek is small. But you can have a lot of fun there. It is professionally run. It’s great for beginners and children. If you live in the area, you can get on the snow without driving ten hours to Colorado.

Having been to Breckenridge/Vail and some other resorts in Colorado several times, I have to say I was genuinely impressed with this ski hill. Not because it really measures up to those resorts in Colorado, but because I was taken aback by how legit Snow Creek is-- it is not a lame, Knock-off ski hill like I thought it was going to be. Sure, it is a relatively small ski mountain, but it does have a 500 ft elevation change from peak to base, and has several legitimate blue runs and even one black run (although it would definitely only be a blue if at a Colorado resort). of course the snow is manufactured, but I was very surprised at the quality of the snow for skiing; it was not that slushy and still nice and powdery when we arrived LATE at about 1 pm on a Saturday in Feb. Very few hard icy spots. They even have a little terrain park. Lift lines were extremely efficient and short the day we were here. Would be a GREAT place for the beginning skier/snowboarder, and we have every intention of bringing our small kids here next time so they can learn here. The whole process of paying for admission/lift tickets, getting boots/ski rentals, and setting up a locker is VERY efficient--and sets an example that the places in Colorado should follow. The neighboring town of Weston, MO is really neat, too! You must check out O'Malley's Pub!!

Unfortunately not their fault its bad. The climate sucks in the Midwest. Some years this place is heaven. Other times it's pure ice.

3 stars because the ambiance is still pretty good. They do alright.

Lockers are WAY too expensive, holy crap.
    $5 for small
    $8 for large.
    WHAT!?

Good local place to learn how to snow ski or snowboard. About 1/3 of the guests are taking lessons. Helpful ski patrol and instructors. Only 3 ski lifts, so lines can be long depending on the date or time. Short runs and a small hill that only takes 1 minute downhill. Good beginner slope area. They also have down tube area and are open most evenings with lighted ski slopes. Last but not least, they manufacture their own snow if necessary.
