The remodel is nice. The food is always good and the view is beautiful. It's a cozy fish place for casual dining. Side note: I think it's cute that they give ladies carnations on mother's day.

My wife and I had herd that this restaurant had good food and device! Needless to say we were very pleased with the great food and service last night . My wife loved the snow crab and my king size prime rib was nothing short of amazing. We will definitely come again.

Best taco salad I've had in a long timenicely presented with cheesy nachos. Love eating on the deck. First time I've been in the ladies' room since they remodelled it

Atmosphere was clean and friendly. I visited with a small group of people. The hamburgers were great, the steak was great, the crab legs were great, but the Walleye was slimey, hence the 4 star rating. I'm sure I just received a bad example of their dish, but this was the one and only time I've been there. The parking lot was literally overflowing traffic on to the street, so this is definitely a good restaurant to visit if you're in the area. It also has a great view of Hess lake from every seat!

This sit-down, full-service wait staff restaurant is a wonderful, locally owned, secret treasure to the area. It's right on a lake that freezes hard in January and airplanes land outside the window on the ice. The food is always good and the prices are fair. The menu is varied from Mexican to seafood to standard American fare. They have a full service bar. The staff is prompt and helpful. In one of my dining experiences there (December 23, 2016) the power went out during our evening meal and the staff brought out LED lamps for the tables. I have eaten there over a dozen times and always look forward to it on my visits to Michigan.
