  The master batters were at it again today with a second place finish. They had 22 pounds 5.1 ounces in the Lunkers annual Pewaukee tournament. Way to represent on there home lake.

  It is the WDNR free fishing weekend today and tomorrow. Anyone can fish without a license. So make sure you stop on it to the old bait shop and pick up some bait and tackle if you need it. Or stop in if you need your fishing license.

  The Smokeys crew getting it done tonight with a 2nd place for overall weight and a win for biggest bass. Fishing seemed to be tough as only one other team brought in a slightly nicer limit. Had three hours to get a pattern down and found out that the fish liked natural colored swim jigs being slowly retrieved on the bottom. Active fish were shallow crushing rocky flats with scattered weeds.

  Fishin Report-Smallies and Crappies can be found on theirs beds. The more you pissed off the smallies the more likely they were to bite.
