  Was told to stay away from this place, got a Christmas gift card so we finally went to use it at least. Old opinions and reviews are very wrong. Just a little pricey, but quality was better then its franchise competitors. I am very critical on having a perfect experience, and they earned closer to a overall 5 Star to me. Congrats Smokey Bones in Ronkonkoma for a turn around. Taylor was our server and was extremely professional and polite, keep it up.

  Generally a nice place to eat in, but do not expectation too high. I tried the place for lunch specials.
  The value of the meal is very good. You can have a quarter BBQ chicken for about $11. But the portion of the chicken wings is small -- so it really depends on what portion you need, and you can also ask the waiter. They are so kind, honest, and easy-going. Service is actually what I like most about the place. It is also easy to drive there, right by a highway exit. The setup of both outside and inside is decent. However, I will probably not go back in the future only because the food is just regular. I do not see any special plate that interests me much. The food tastes good, just not special enough.

  Love eating at Smokey Bones!! We visit the Ronkonkoma NY location and the food is always delicious. We had Michelle U. as our waitress and she was Amazing!! She was very attentive and checked on our table a perfect amount of times to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The experience at Smokey is always good but Michelle made it extra special and she will definitely be another reason to keep coming back! Great customer service, great food!

  The first thing I love about their menu is how many options are available! I wasn't sure what to expect as I had went on a recommendation but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. I ordered a smoked BBQ chicken sandwich, ordered wings to share as an appetizer, and the hot bag o donuts. Let me tell you, these donuts made me feel so guilty taking each bite. They were so soft and too good to be healthy honestly. They also provide a little brown bag for your bones. I think that's a unique little addition. I actually really liked the idea. It made things seem to be less messy. Added an air of class to eating wings with your hands.

  We walked in and were seat promptly and were greeted at the table very quickly. Service was awesome, order drinks they were pretty good. Order the brisket and ribs and that was very tasty. Had a nice selection of sauces at the table that are worth a try. Overall a pretty good experience. If in the area I will more than likely come back.

  Loved smokey bones since I tried it in south carolina. The smoked wings is awesome the ribs are on point. You will be hooked.

  Couples, business meals and families meet for full service (and takeout) in a modern, multi-TV screen realm. Burgers, ribs, pulled pork classics and a very large, varied menu. Large bar area and a lot of sports fans. Can get somewhat noisy at peak times. Call ahead.

  My waitress Gabby was great. I went to dinner with friends and the service was fabulous. I haven't come to Smokey Bones in a while and the food was just as good as it was when I went a few years ago. Gabby made everyone happy. She was very upbeat, and friendly. I didn't even have to ask her for additional knapkins and a pitcher of water and she automatically had it on the table. She was very good to make sure we were all happy with our meal (s). Gabby made good suggestions and answered all are questions.

  Tonight my friends and i had the most amazing waitress Gabby, she was awesome and it was our first time eating here. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed with the quickness. The food was really really good too. We will be back and soon.

  Have given this place more than one chance, each time asking myself why I even bothered. The first time, my boyfriend and I walked in without anyone acknowledging us, no one around to put us on a list or to seat us and people passing. A simple "ill be right with you" would have sufficed. We ended up just leaving. Second time, we walked in.. girl at the podium ignored us as we stood there waiting for her to take our names. Another worker stood there with her back to us (facility was not busy). We stood there awkwardly for what seemed like forever and walked out a second time, saying to ourselves "Did this really happen a second time?" Couldn't even tell you how the food was as we didn't even make it that far. Very disappointed. Red lobster it is!

  Enjoyed it! The only biggest problem we had was parking, we had to scour both lots a few times and ended up parking in front of Red Lobster. Sad it's in the middle of nowhere off the LIE. We came in around 6pm on a Saturday night 2 people and was quickly seated. What you can't see in the St Louis ribs photo is there's another small rack under the garlic bread and the bones just fell out of the meat. Also free WiFi! Been wanting to try this place as a friend spoke about going there next week with his partner when we all got together a while back.

  Great atmosphere and food... very appealing to me because there's no seafood except for fish...as I am allergic to shellfish... mostly all restaurants have shellfish somewhere on their menus..The waitstaff are very pleasant and the drinks are spot on!!!!... lots of original signature blends for the mixed drinks....def my new spot!!!

  Ribs and chicken and cornbread, oh my! There's something for everyone at "the 'Bones". Nice menu selection, especially for the kids. Fun adult libations and great food. Try your choice of ribs and the marvelous coleslaw! You'll be back!

  Food was good. Service was slow, however it's somewhat expected with BBQ and a packed house. I'd recommend providing the patrons something to munch on while waiting. And it should be mandatory that every server knows to bring ample napkins without having to be chased, it's BBQ!

  Good Service; great food....had the Texas Styled Bref Brisket, sweet potato fries, ranchor beans and Texas Bread with tea. Excellent. Atmosphere was very cozy.

  Our favorite spot! We're there every Friday and have never been disappointed! Pretzel Bones and smoked wings are our go-to appetizers, and for dinner we'll usually get the Cuban, a burger, ribs, or the pork tenderloin. We try to switch it up sometimes with what we get for dinner, but we always come back because really anything you order is delicious. Kim, Ivana, Louis and Corrine have become like family and we recommend them to anyone looking for a great dinner & drink. We've also had them 'cater' (we get BBQ Party Packs) for 3 military events and they've always come through! Even people from down south were raving over the food! Gave us lots of extras and will always be our top choice for our casual events. Thanks guys, see you soon! :)

  Staff is nice. Food was good. Decor is fun to look at it with many hidden Easter eggs. It is the only walking option to the hotel next door so it is convenient if you are staying at that Marriott. It has an interesting mix of BBQ and American fare.
