Private party donated this slice of heaven to Georgia for us to enjoy for generations. Hiking and biking trails, cabins, store, picnic areas, on site producing bee hives, and wonderful rangers that are more than willing to answer questions

A great place to hike. It has easy to moderate trails. The scenery changes include lowlands water area, an old mining area and a nice trout stream.

Three of us rented a cabin in order to fish the upper section of the creek on days not available to the regular fishermen. The staff did not inform the volunteers that we were there and the fish were fed like normal on Thursday, ruining our experience. My advice is to stay somewhere else and fish another stream

Wonderful place to let go of the city and talk an extended walk through the woods. If you enjoy fishing, try for some trout in the streams.

Have been up there 4 times now and absolutely love the place. Stayed at the Lodge (pictured) last night and that place is amazing. Great hiking trails as well. If you want to feel the tension and stress drain out of your body, this is the place for it.
