This is more like a really fancy Wal-Mart with two deli's and a bar

This must be the most beatiful Smith's I've ever seen. It's more like a walmart because they have everything, clothes, household, decor, etc. I may be deprived because we live in Taos and our stores are famously badly stocked, but AMAZING deli selection for picnic items. They had 4 types of cheese curds, I can't even buy cheese curds in Taos! Staff was friendly and non-pushy

Ramanpreet and Beverly at Starbucks at Smiths are just excellent. They are they greatest part of an experience that gets our day off to a good start.

Barbara at the Atomic bar was fantastic. Great service. Great beer and cheese while watching NFL playoffs. Who says you can’t have a bar in a grocery store. Smiths pulls it off with resounding success.

Everything you might want and more. There's a bar inside, a few places to get a fresh prepared meal, and assorted stations such as a cheese counter. Its pretty much like a Smith's version of a Wal-Mart as well. Only downside here is it can be a little pricey.

Probably the best Smith's in New Mexico. Tons of things available, friendly staff.

8/2017-Smith's Grocery Stores still defaultin to debit and not allowing credit use of Los Alamos National Bank debit/credit cards. Using credit portion protects me on multiple levels. From talking to Smith's employees this is due to a contract issue with their merchant processor & Mastercard which LANB uses. I am no longer shopping at Smith's. Shopping at local co-op, Albertson's, Walmart, and Target-all of which have no problem with credit charges to LANB debit/credit cards. 7/2017-Smith's Grocery is forcing customers to use debit portion of bank debit/credit card by setting their card readers to prevent use of credit option. I put all of my purchases on credit to protect myself from cyber theft. Will avoid Smith's as they are jeapordizing my security.

Just popped in to return an item of clothing. Customer service was closed at, 8:20 AM--why? On my return to town at 6:30 PM, it was open and the return went very smoothly.

Smith's Marketplace is one of New Mexico's nicest grocery stores. A lot of hot food eating choices, full bar, picnic/camping department, furniture, pharmacy, excellent meats and cheese departments, huge alcohol/beer section and a small upscale cigar humidor located in the chilled fine wine section. This place also has an outdoor patio that has great views of the Rio Grande valley, eating tables and a cigar/microbrew social on Saturday evenings.

This is a very good Smith's, and it is quite large, comparable to the Kroger's Marketplace in Centerville OH. It has all the basic grocery foods plus a small sporting goods area, a large clothing aisle, and pots/pans/utensils.

With this being our only choice to buy groceries in Los Alamos, they sure do a poor job of customer service. I don't remember the last time there were baggers available, or when there wasn't a mistake on my receipt.

Better than Wal Mart. Clean, well stocked and a better floor plan. Great prices too.

This Smiths is great, they carry just about everything I've ever needed. They have a fresh sushi station and a large selection of frozen foods.

Helpful staff. Fresh sushi made right in front of you. I loathe self checkouts and that's all that was open when I was there.

I would like to commend a young woman named Elsie who works at the Los Alamos Smiths. I was in the store for the very first time this morning to get a frozen turkey breast and paused at the self checkout line unsure as to how to proceed. Elsie noticed the confused expression on my face as I turned to walk away and find a tellered check out stand. She came over to me and asked if I needed help doing a self checkout. She then led me to the machine and guided me through the entire process. She made sure I was comfortable with the assistance and did not feel like a complete fool. Senior citizens in particular truly appreciate this kind of consideration and assistance! I commend this young lady for her consideration and thoughtfulness and want her to know it was much appreciated :)
