One of the best dinners,we ever had in town.
I booked the dinner 3 weeks in advance, so plz book yours earlier.
Walked in,homey, goood vibe, sat at the kitchen counter, and offered with two comp glasses of champ, yummy.
Throughout the dinner, we loved every single dish, my favorite is the beef dish, the green pepper corn sauce, is just wow!
2 of us, had many glasses of wine, if u don’t wanna open a bottle, but enjoying options of wine by glasses, sixty three Clinton is the great place for u to do so, every single glass we had, was just divine.
We came with much admiration to chef clonts, after our meal, we felt very satisfied with each dish and bite, the whole night, we had comfortable and very attentive service.
Sixty three Clinton, is the spot to celebrate, to revisit when menu updates, to let go of the bustling Manhattan noises, just enjoy the meal and time here.
Will be back for sure!
The cooking here has a “homemade” taste and feel. Whether that’s desirable depends on your preferences. It’s good for the $92 price tag, though the add-ons can inflate it, even with the $55 signature caviar hand roll alone. Personally, I find greater value in some other pricier tasting menus.
When I go to fine dining, I look for one or two dishes that hit me with a depth and/or clarity of flavor, the ones that make me go “wow, this is a ten”—the flavors I can’t experience outside of a fine dining setting. This expectation was not met here. Don’t get me wrong: the food was good and enjoyable overall, just none of them blew my mind.
The restaurant should consider investing in a stronger ventilation in the future. The delicious smell of dashi blasted out as soon as I opened the door. Within a few minutes of sitting down, I stopped smelling it, surely from olfactory fatigue. It likely dampened my sense of smell and taste so I couldn’t enjoy the food to the maximum. Like, if you were served garlic noodles, it might taste super garlicky, but if you made it yourself it won’t taste garlicky enough because you’ve been smelling it for the past twenty minutes.
My partner and I came to celebrate my birthday and had one of (if not THE) most wonderfully presented, delicious meals we've ever eaten. The staff was so wonderful and personal, and even went as far as to recommend some places to check out in the area and on the way back to our hotel. Overall an incredible experience and I would absolutely return if I can.
Pound for pound probably my favorite restaurant in NYC. The tasting menus is reasonably priced and every dish is an absolute hit. The breakfast taco and the heirloom tomato dish were my favorite and the hand roll add on is absolutely worth it. Lastly, something I really appreciated was how hard the two owners were working and how down to earth and fun they both were. Those are the little things that distinguish one restaurant from the next. Love this spot!!
I'm usually wary of dining at a restaurant with a prix fixe menu, but made an exception with 63Clinton after a strong recommendation from a friend. Dined here with my partner for our anniversary and we had such a great night, I couldn't recommend it more. We got the last seating and actually got to chat with other guests and one of the co-owners, Raymond, which added on to the fun. We ended up having drinks with him and closing out the restaurant, which was a nice way to cap our anniversary and one of our last date nights in New York.
