THERE ARE NO MUNICIPAL COURTS IN CALIFORNIA AND HAVE NOT BEEN SINCE 2001.
In 1998 an Amendment to the California State Constitution was passed consolidating the Municipal Courts and the County Superior Courts. Each County had to approve doing so. By 2001 all 58 Counties in California had voted to combine the two and it was completed State wide by the end of the year.response / report this review -

Liars! got a speeding ticket cop put over 65mph no actual speed. I was driving 60 i couldn't believe he was even pulling me over.

I wonder if this is the place for justice. I got speeding ticket at limit 45 mph (officer quoted me 61, actually based on my GPS I drove no more than 60), but no evidence I can show so I have no way to stop the judge to trust the officer unconditionally and paid about 500 USD for the ticket and waste my time on traffic school. I have a clean record and no speeding ticket all my life, and the Judge did not reduce 1 cent off my ticket, he said a clean record can't prove you were not speeding. I am extremely disappointed about this officer and the judge.
In my understanding, the government serves people, but here Shame on California!
