Decent course for the money. Played on a nasty, cool, windy and wet day in fall. Greens rolled very good.
We were camping nearby and this was the closest course. What a great find! Course was in good shape. The green were great. Challenging layout. Had such a good time that we played the very next day. Thanks Silo Run!!!
Great place to come and relax, and play a good golf course. Rates are very affordable too!
If you can get past the filthy carts, disgusting restrooms, and no portapotties on the course it's fine. The course itself is in good shape and just a couple quirky holes on the back.
Tough course. Greens in great shape. Fairway grass still green and lush.
Pretty nice for the first time. Like to play it again. It's a short, but chsngiling course. Really need to know your distance off the tee. A lot of blind shots of the tee. Nice lay out. Nice greens.
After seeing multiple tee times on GolfNow, I drove on out (30 minutes). Got there and was told they were booked. I was also a single golfer and could have been put in with anyone. Will never be back.
Absolutely love this place!!!
Great price and layout for a course set waaay out in the countryside.
However, they allowed 7 golf carts at one time for a birthday party, and it was VERY loud and annoying trying to play on the same 9 as them. They had strapped some of the children in like golf bags. this was unbelievable to us. there were 4 adults playing and they were letting the little ones run all over the hole they were playing on, and allowing them to try to hit the ball also.
We called before going, and we were told nothing going on to be concerned about. When we got there after a 2.5 hr drive, we were told there was a group of 15 out there. 3 groups of 5 playing a scramble and the birthday party. Imagine trying to play behind that on one side and the birthday party on the other. This was a Sunday afternoon, so my advice is to stop by if you can before playing to make sure what u'r up against.
Nice and quiet so you can usually play through with no wait time. Watch out for those speedy greens though.
Really nice staff. I enjoy this course because of the unique holes and long par 5s. Usually well kept and I enjoy the country setting. I have run into a few patrons with poor etiquette but not the courses fault. One of my favorites in the area.
