Description
First colonized in 1987, the Delta Beta chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu was first officially recognized in 1989. After operating independently for a brief period during the turn of the century, the chapter has since regained official recognition and has inculcated a base of over 300 brothers.
The chapter focuses on Sigma Alpha Mu's national philanthropy, the Alzheimer's Association, which they raised over $2,000 for in the fall 2016 semester. They also focus on their local philanthropy, Armor Down, an organization dedicated to promoting mindful awareness for veterans suffering from mental health issues brought on from their service.
