Shooting Star Learning Daycare is more than a "babysitting" service. It is a quality daycare that is run out of a state recognized home. The director and assistant director are a husband and wife team. More than simple babysitting, educational games, learning activities, crafts, outside play, and daily enrichment are offered. Reinforcement of the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes and age appropriate education are also a part of the daily plan. Exercises and play that promote small and large motor skills as well as other child development activities are also a part of the daily activity. Potty training is also provided after the child is at least 30 months old at no additional cost. All of this and more under the nurture and care of Roy and Charity Hughes in a special set aside daycare room, that the enrolled children often refer to as their "school."
