Have bought a few guns from here before, but after this experience for an FFL transfer, never again. They told me I had to wait, till the next day, while they "logged" the weapon so law enforcement knows they received the gun blah blah blah; this is a blatant lie as i have walked into other FFLs, as they opened my sealed firearm from the shipper, and transferred firearms within 30 minutes of recieving from fedex. Shoot straight was also informed 3 days prior that it would be arriving when it did. I will drive further and pay more for my transfer next time at a different shop, so I can get what I pay for as soon as it is available. If they are short handed and can't do it immediately they need to tell the truth, hire more people, and not blame the BATF for delaying my transfer. Love the guys behind the counter but policy and ethics are severely lacking since some of us are ACTUAL gun guys and know how these things are SUPPOSED to work.

I was here for over 30 minutes and I got zero help. At my local shop someone would come up to you as soon as you walk in the door. There were 3 customers there and over 6 employees. The extra Employees were standing around talking and didn't even acknowledge I walked in the door. I left and went to my CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED SHOP, The Armories in Oviedo.. These employees would rather talk to each other than make a sale. I won't be coming back. Little did they know, I had a $2,600 budget and was looking for new hearing protection and an AR-15, as well as 9MM ammo for other firearms I own. Although they would have known if someone talked to me, they all looked too busy hanging out with each other than helping someone to bother.

Extremely rude staff. I drove 2 hours to purchase an AR and was promised that I could walk out with it the same day. I chose my gun and was then told that I could not purchase the gun because it was 1 minute after close. The staff was beyond rude it was disgusting and they made sure to let me know that my business wasn't needed or cared about in the slightest bit. I will never come to a Shoot Straight again and would not recommend it to anyone who appreciates being taken care of. They lied to me over the phone to get me to come in and then I left without the gun I wanted with full intention of purchasing the gun. Terrible service and half of the guns had dog/cat hair inside of the slides which was gross. The 2 guys up front were completely rude and unhelpful and are LIARS. I left empty handed and pissed off because I was lied to. I will never recommend Shoot Straight to anyone and I've been shooting my whole life, I probably would've spent over $50,000 in the store over my lifetime but thank God I had this experience or I would have. Terrible staff, terrible service, dirty guns, scratched up "brand new guns" and arrogant clerks. Absolutely disgusting attitudes. Will never ever come here again.

It's pretty cheap and easy to go relax at the shooting range hereThe actual firearms themselves can be a little bit on the expensive side, but the staff is always there to help out and are all very knowledgeable about the firearms they are selling. Definitely make sure to hit the range here next time you're in Casselberry

In the store for at least 30 minutes. No one would even look at me to see if I needed assistance. Never been so pissed!

Went to this location to shoot and I enjoyed the range, but the staff weren't friendly or welcoming. I suspect they didn't want to help due to the color of my black skin. Tyler was the only helpful and respectful staff member who was willing to give me time and answer my questions. I do not plan on going back.

My favorite local gun shop. They ALWAYS have the best prices. They are even competitive with online prices. The associates are very helpful and friendly and I enjoy going to the shop. The range is air conditioned. They have a good selection of guns and accessories in stock!

Very nice store, huge selection of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. The range is very nice, cleaned, and we'll ventilated and air conditioned which is critical in the summer. Shotguns allowed all days which is nice. Prices are good considering how nice the facility is. Probably where I'll be going from here on out.

A good majority of the five star reviews on here are fake, posted by shoot straight. This was obvious to me before I saw two accounts by the name of "a Google user" posted the same review twice, just one with a quotation mark at the end so Google doesn't see it's exactly identical. Then there's all the other generic five star reviews by a Google user and all the detailed five star reviews literally saying the exact opposite of what the one star reviews do, as if it's going to offset it or something. Their accurate rating is most likely >2 stars. Pathetic. You can't trust a business that writes a million fake reviews because they suck. Don't go here.

Great selection, mostly bad service. Go educated because most of the clerks will not give you relevant or much of any product knowledge.

A few simple things would make the range much more pleasant. First off a second shelf under the only medium sized one. It's a small range and fills up fast. A way to hang the extra targets. Finally fill the gaps of the lane dividers, it's strange having hot brass raining on you while you shot.

I hope this is read, and these simple changes are made to make a better experience.

Bah Humbug! I could not be more disappointed with my last gun purchase at Shoot Straight in Casselberry. I can’t believe how they did not honor Smith & Wesson’s warranty. I was actually charged $64.20 for a repair to a brand new gun I bought. I bought an S&W M&P Shield 11/6/16 at the Casselberry location. I took it from the box to the range and shot around 40 rounds. I went home and started to field strip it so I could clean the gun. To my surprise the lever that allows the top rail to come off actually pushed all the way down and fell out. I took it back to Shoot Straight the next day 11/7/16 and dropped it off. I explained to the employee that assisted me what had happened while I was prepping to clean the gun. At that time I was assured that the gun would be repaired and that it was “no big deal, really easy fix, and shouldn’t take more than a few weeks”.
Fast forward to 12/6/16 around 7:30 pm, some 29 days later. After being notified that my gun was ready to be picked up I showed up to claim my gun. That is when I was informed that I was being charged for the repair. I questioned the employee that was waiting on me about the charge. I said it was a new gun purchase and I did not see how I was being charged. He went on to say that it was his store policy that he could not give his gunsmiths time away. I again stated that it was a new gun purchase. Then the employee went on to ask me “who did you give the gun to, you did not give it to me”. I told him I had no idea who waited on me. I did not take his name but he would have been the person that filled out my repair slip and the claim ticket. The employee then announced that he was the manager and that I did not talk to him. Which was true, how would I know if no one told me. I again explained to the “now” manager that I did not know who I spoke to and I only worked with the person that served me at the counter. I felt like he was implying I was lying to him. I said I am sorry that I don’t know your employees name. I reminded him I was the person that had bought the new gun and was bringing it back to his store. He again explained to me that it was his stores policy that he could not give away the gunsmith’s time. I mentioned to him as a business person and as the manger he had a choice. He could hide behind his policy or do what would be right. Again I heard the store policy we don’t give away the gunsmith’s time. I also reminded that person I was a regular customer, I had bought several new guns lately, taken my concealed weapons permit class there, and bought a lot of other items at that store. Well you may have guessed, I received one more verse of it is our company policy.
I knew I was not going to change his mind but I did want to mention some facts to him as I left. You might have been professional to me but you were wrong. You had a choice as the manger and you made the choice to hide behind your policy. We’ll as a consumer I have a choice to make with my money.
Shoot Straight you can consider this review as one step in my decision making process.
Did you really win? …and by the way I am a middle aged gun enthusiast with a concealed weapons permit. My friends and I like to buy guns, shoot guns often, and buy accessories. You won’t be seeing any of us and anyone else I can convince to shop anywhere else. Enjoy my $65 dollars, of which your real cost were probably 50%-70%
