Limited food on the buffet bar, and if we wanted something like a take home box it took forever to obtain. Overall my liver and onions was great.

Food is decent, if you are looking for the "old" shoneys style, not good, but the food is good

I was really excited that I had found a Shoney's! Because there are none close to where I live any more.
But I guess b/c it was a slow day they didn't have enough staff So service was real slow.

The salad was low stocked, but I was able to make it work. (Guess it was b/c they were taking the buffet up & switching over to all seafood bar 😛.) And unfortunately my entree of lemon pepper chicken was very thin &small for the price. And the rice pilaf was dried out & almost crunchy!

I guess my highlight of the meal would have to be the $4 chocolate cake milkshake w/real cake pieces! (OOH IT WAS SHOO GOOD!) that I was finally able to get after asking for it twice 1/2 thru my meal!

I hate having to give1 of my favorite restaurants bad reviews, but I'll give them a second try to see if it was just a bad day, hopefully the next time I'm in town.

Hospitality was absolutely wonderful. Food was great compared to the Shoney's in my home state. Quiet, clean, and friendly.

This was supposed to be a wonderful Sunday breakfast with my children and grandchildren this labor day weekend. I travelled here to visit in Carolina. It was a bad experience from entering to exiting.
The hostess was not very pleasant that seated us, then we just took whatever seat since she wouldn't allow us to choose with a party of 5.
The Buffet Food was salty , there were no spoons in the food to serve yourself and there was an older lady there yelling at me and the other employees about ,,Wait Wait.there are no spoons
Clearly we could see that and couldn't do anything without themshe was rolling her eyes and being rude.
When we finally got our food , low and behold the chicken was raw n bloody..😝😝 I made it known to our waitress so no one else would consume thisand get sick.
The restaurant is entirely to small and tight areas to have a comfortable experience without having accidents of some sort.
When we were leaving the restaurant the same lady that was yelling abruptly stopped us and I was exhausted by this time with the whole ordeal that was supposed to be a pleasant family time out.
She said she was taking something off for the BLOODY CHICKEN, and took off $3.00 -$4.00.Wowthat's not even worth the nasty food and attitudes we recieved that day..
    Never go there

Excellent food, not a whole lotta selection for a buffet. Great atmosphere! The table next to ours overheard us talking about Hurricane Irma and asked us if we were from Florida and talked with us for a little, just encouraging us. It felt good to know people actually care.
Very busy, as it should have been on a Sunday afternoon.

We went for the morning of the Eclipse and were the first in the parking lot (besides 2 cars belonging to the workers). They were kind people and a nice waitress. The food wasn't amazing, but it was nice because they gave us a complementary Moon Pie and Solar Eclipse Glasses, which was awesome. I had the buffet for breakfast.

It's been a on again off again relationship with Shoney's, mostly because I come from Nashville where SHoney's and Capt Ds was a way of life everywhere in town! Here it's either doing good or doing bad. This time, Doing Good! The server was very good and she stayed on top of what we needed and kept our glasses full. The food was a little over done, but it was still passable. The breakfast buffet should just be 24/365!!

If you've never been it's a buffet style with a menu to order from as well. I ordered from the buffet and thought the food was really good. My only complaint was the bread pudding, but I'm not a big fan of bread pudding to begin with so take that with a grain of salt. Overall, good service, good food, and really affordable.
