  The staff is always helpful and attentive. And we're else can you get just a plate of bacon. I've enjoyed going to this location since I was a child.

  Great food. Service not so much the girl who brought our food was great. I asked our waitress if I could get some potatoes and green beans off salad bar for our baby girl and the girl was hateful and said if it is only for her.

  Quick, friendly, and cheap. We arrived a little early for a Sunday with no wait. We had the breakfast buffet, and our drinks came promptly. The only complaint would be the lack of fresh fruit in the buffet.

  Went for the Sunday brunch. Service was good and all the buffet items were well prepared and containers well stocked. Good visit to our local Shoney's.

  If you want to escape the crowds of restaurant row in Cookeville, this is the place. Good food and very clean with excellent service. We especially enjoy coming to Shoney's on Sunday for the brunch buffet.

  the staff is friendly enough, very southern "down home" kind of people. the "fresh" salad bar was anything but fresh. ordered the fish and chips but ended up with the chicken because they were out of fish. took a while for the food to come out. the restaurant isn't necessarily dirty, but... not super clean either. the food isn't bad, but not nearly worth the price.
  
  overall, it's not horrible, but I wouldn't recommend it and probably won't be coming back.

  Arrived last evening around 6 p.m. the place was almost empty. The waitresses were talking.....and getting coffe for those eating. (3 couples in a booth and 2 individuals.) I waited 5 minutes...no one seated me...So i sat myself.....no one noticed....in 5 minutes I went to the salad bar...made a salad...returned to the table. SAT...NOTHING....2 waitresses were talking to each other....one was talking to a couple in a booth....the salad bar gal and another waitess were out side smoking.........no one came to see about me...no silverware....no drink....WON'T BE BACK. Been eating there since the mid 1970's

  Horrible customer service my wife said let's go because she loved going there when she was growing up in Louisiana. We waited 20min to be seated when there was dozen of empty seats. They continued to serve and clean as we stood waiting. I had to tell my wife lets go we deserve better customer service.... Hello Cracker Barrel

  I keep going back hoping it will be the Shoney's from my childhood but it's not cutting it. The parking lot sits empty all the time which is probably why the food bar tastes old.
