Sadly, this was the worst service I have encounted in several years of dining out. Late to be greeted, drink never brought, server didn't know vegetable of the day and then didn't bring it after I ordered it, dinner served on a tiny plate, server never checked back, I had to ask for the check and then it was unceremoniously dropped on the table . . . It was a horror show from start to finish.

I arrived at 6PM and there was no line, plenty of tables and staff, and seemingly no reason for the poor service.

When I went to check out, I asked to see the manager. After a long wait, she spoke to me, apologized, and did not charge me for the meal.

Great breakfast bar. Shoney's did a great Veterans breakfast. The food and the service were both great and much appreciated. Way to go Kingsport TN Shoney's!!!!

Manager took my order, was very polite and helpful. Went to buy my son a piece of candy for being good, and he gave it to him free of charge. Would recommend coming here especially if you have young children. Definitely my new favorite place.

Our server was a very nice and polite young man who got my order wrong. Once brought to his attention, he graciously and quickly made the correction. Shoney's is a wonderful place to go for a quick bite to eat or for a full meal. It's a quiet and comfortable place to dine. Food was hot and fresh. No complaints and will be going back next week.

This was a great experience! The food was good. The restaurant was clean! The staff were courteous and reliable.
The new general manager has really made improvements that make me want to come back!

Good place to go to if you're looking for some place quiet to enjoy a large meal. Majority of the time the food will be good, and the service is almost always excellent.

I'd recommend it for anyone looking to eat with a small group in a place that they can take it easy.

Waitress was very slow, probably due to being understaffed. Hot breakfast bar and food was ok, not great. Seems to attract some "questionable" people.

Greeted with a smile, was seated very quickly, waitress was very friendly and right there when we needed her. The food was very good and fresh, the area where the food was, was very clean and organized. Over all a very good experience.
