  Well Folks, this is it. Our last night of making memories on MacArthur Avenue and what a night it shall be. We hope to see all of you today even if you just drop in to say good bye.

  Tonight we're going to do something a little different that I've always want to do. We are going to set the room up to allow more mingling, socializing and reminiscing. Come early for dinner and just before the band starts we will remove most of the tables. We are serving a full menu as well ...as complimentary snacks later in the night.

  We will open at 2:00. Kitchen opens at 4:00.

  So many thanks are in order. First I'd like to thank all of you for your support and the 12 most memorable years of my life. Kudos to the bands and all their efforts.

  My most special thanks goes out to my lovely wife Joan and my wonderful crew. You ARE Shenanigans, from my chefs to my precious girls. Thanks Joe and David for over 10 years of service. Some of you jumped on to help me at the end and some have been here since the start. You are all very special to me and I love and appreciate you.

  The Shenanigans Family thanks you all and we will serve you great food and music "another place, another time."

  Friends, This November 19th will be the 12th anniversary of Shenanigans Eatery & Pub. Sadly though, it will be our last. Our lease was up for renewal November 1 and our landlord has opted to let his son have the space. We’re told it will be a new restaurant with no music. It’s been an absolute pleasure for us to have dined and entertained you over the years. I take great pride in the music we’ve hosted. We’ve staged the finest talents from Austin to Scotland, Bakersfie...ld to Oregon Hill. We even had a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer. We, like many of you, have so many memories to take with us as we go. We’ve seen marriages made here and little tikes grow up before our eyes. We’ve made lots of friends. We’ve sadly lost lots of friends way too early, but we’re glad Shenanigans afforded us the opportunity to meet them as well as fellowship with them regularly. Hopefully we’ll make new memories as we hope to take the “show on the road.” As for now, we’ve made a deal ($$$) to stay here until the end of the year so our staff can make it through Christmas. Til then, we are going to have one hell of a Seven Week Party! Our great staff has committed to bring you the finest of Shenanigans (on MacArthur) til the end. Please join them often.
