I love these little collectives of shops and this one is a favorite and we stop by every single time we are in the area. From the koi pond and kettle corn out front to the homemade treats, to the AMAZING collection of thousands of antiques from furniture to books to kitchen wares. There are bear traps, old textiles, antique knives, many, many serviceware sets from different eras; SO many more things than can be listed! There is also a homemade cannery there with apple butter, jams, jellies, and a store with fudge, candies, and SO many delicious treats! Your family will LOVE every second of being in this market!
We stop here when travelling through. We use their big, clean bathrooms and then we enter the antique and collectibles section. We don't buy a lot, as a lot is a bit pricey, but we always find afew things. There is a nice little cafe for food and drink and sitting a spell. New merchandise is sold at several shops within the buildingand a kettle corn vendor!
Cute and quaint country market. Some of the shops were a little squiffy but most of them were awesome. We loved the food at the Hungry Farmer and happily took home some canned butters and jam from the Country Canner and will be back to visit.
Interesting market, very comfortable and casual. Selection of wholesome foods, antiques, quilts hand made. Kitchen shop with more gadgets, utensils, at very reasonable prices, fun place to shop.
We spend so much money here. So many neat buys and yummy jams and cheese etc. Nothing like a good Amish market!! Very nice antiques too. The restaurant inside is very good as well.
Don't go to the candy and nut secteion. I was treated like ass. Older woman was beyond rude. We enjoyed all the other shops but we will never recommend the back corner that has candy and bulk food. And on top of being spoken to so rudely their candy is very stale.
Love the little shops, the staff is friendly. It’s nice to be able to sample before you buy. The interior and exterior of the building is always clean.
Every time I come to this area I stopped here and make sure you grab some kettle corn on the way out because it's very good
The gal behind the counter was very nice. Quite attractive as well. If I had room I would have eaten another Mushroom Burger with swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce, with mayonnaise. They had good old-fashioned coke in a bottle.
So many wonderful shops! Check out the kitchen store if you like to cook. 😉
This is an amazing little out-of-the-way cluster of shops of an Amish and/or old country store variety. If you like craft stores, odds & ends and the like, check this place out.
We are not from this area but visit frequently, and we have passed by this place (unknowingly) many times -- until today! It's a little easy to miss and I wish I'd found it sooner. So I thought I'd give this place a well-deserved "thumbs up!" so those who search for such places on Google might give it a shot.
Love this place. So much fun and I walked out with tons of food and records. Best last minute decision to go to.
This market has a lot of the country ways of products. Heavily Mennonite oriented which in turn brings a lot of product to the counter of their way of life. Wood products, food products etc. . Cheese's , meats, baking, canning and even a food court. You need to visit this establishment. I live in the area that this market is located and visit it frequently.
Great selection, great store! Even have prepared food on site in case you need a quick bite. Grandmas Pantry Has a good selection of healthy baking goods and I will definitely be back.
Very nice. They have a lot of neat stuff. Some of it is priced reasonably, others are a little pricey. They have a little but if everything here.
I always go shopping at the Shenandoah Heritage Market every year I travel to Massanutten Resort. I enjoy the shops especially the Country Canner and Grandma's Pantry. They offer an assortment of products and plenty of samples. You can also see the Mennonite women busily canning their products in the store. Shenandoah offers everything for all ages who like country living.
Rustic feel. Variety of stores, some local goods, not too expensive.
The smell when you walk in is very calming. All the stores are nicely decorated and prices on everything are fair. Honestly, I could live there. The restaurant is very tasty and affordable as well.
I felt like an alien in my own country because of my skin color. No greetings as I visited the different vendors, just stares even while Christian music played in the background at one of the locations. I'm hoping visiting a place that still openly displays the confederate flag and my dark skin did not play a role in the poor customer service that I received. If that wasn't the reason then the customer service here is just awful. No worries I will never go back again.
