I had a delivery of my first kiln today. Ray who delivered it went above and beyond. He was so helpful and knowledgeable we could not have set up without him. Truly a wonderful experience. Customer service is everything.

I have not had anything like the negative issues described here. I have been buying from Sheffield for over 2 years now through their online store. I purchased a Brent wheel (which they agreed to price match against a competitor) then many, many commercial glazes and tools since their prices with free shipping are the best. I live one state over and my orders always arrive within 2-3 days. In my first glaze order they accidentally sent one wrong bottle. They had no problem sending the correct one and had me keep the accidental one as well (not worth the shipping, I guess). I have called them with questions several times and have not had problems with them. They were always polite and very helpful. I am in the market for a kiln and plan to buy it from them based on my past experiences.

Horrible customer service. I've been waiting for one answer for about 2 weeks. I've called numerous times and Everytime I'm told I will either receive a call or an email in about an hour . I have not received one reply this whole time. They do have good prices, if your willing to wait forever and be ignored in the process.

they don't include tracking shipping number, even though I ask for it they dont. It took so long for them to ship also they respond email like 2-4 day of reply. If you don't have patience to wait like 3 or 4 week and keep on contacting them about why they havent ship it don't buy it from them.

Called two weeks after order and still not shipped. Cancel the order. Month later they shipped the order and charge my account. It's been a month since I shipped it back and still no refund. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

I purchased a $1700 slip mixer in mid December. The product was described as a combination mixer and pump. When the machine arrived, I learned from reading the first page in the owner's manual the machine is not intended to be used as a mixer, pump only. I contacted Sheffield's customer service via email and after 3 days, received no response. I called several times over the next few weeks, requesting an RMA so I could return the machine. Two weeks ago I was told the owner was needed to handle this, but I have still not been contacted. Because of their irresponsible product listing and unwillingness to claim responsibility for their mistake, I'm stuck with a $1700 purchase that only does 1/2 of what it is supposed to do.

We liked it. Great selection of pottery tools. Enjoyed browsing the gallery. The staff was laid back, friendly and knowledgeable. They even recommended a great local place for lunch.
