Great expanse for the pups to run. Amazing trails to explore. Tons of fun to be had lakeside, even if your pups don't like to swim.
Wish I lived closer! My pup loved the trails and space to roam.
First time in 100+ visits saw a snake today on the western outer trail. Copperhead. Drought has them scavenging. Beautiful and venomous.
Prepare for a long walk to the lake. Hat, sunscreen, etc. The big white tube sticking out of the ground not far from the entrance is for you to throw the poop bags.
After Sunset AVOID CONCRETE PATH BY DOG BEACH, snakes leave COLD FOREST and lay on WARM CONCRETE; AFTER SUNSET......SOME LAY ALL night on paths
Keep your leash(s) with you, they will get stolen.
Please PLEASE clean up after your dog!!! There are bags & poop shoots. Don't be ignorant!
The lake is always a dog favorite
Please keep your kids dressed at the park! I
Woof! To the dog park and beyond!
Explore! There are various paths and trails to hike that will all lead you to the lake, which is really why we're here!
Sniff buttz. Swim. Bark.
I love a dog park where the dogs can actually run free and not worry about being bitten by other dogs! These owners have it under control! Very clean too!
